@TC1203226 Its more the worry its the mentality Bevo came into this with when everyone was fit. You cant change it, you just gotta patch and fix things as they pop up, I just think its harder to do with a gameplan that does not match up with the skills of the list. Its risky but its Bevo.

This part of the presser scared the shit out of me. Answers why we struggle so much when the gameplan goes wrong. Instead of using a gameplan that emphasises the tools avaliable, its a gameplan that Bevo thinks will work if players step up. No other coach does that. #MightyWest

Bevo We believe Hawthorn got us in the contest and the intercept game. We can’t play like that. We need to minimise that happening. Geelong have some strong key backs who will intercept well. We have not been using the ball well.

@JackCJohnston I think giving Hynes an extended spot in the team would be more beneficial for him so he can work on ways to impact with his role, because he has flashes where you see he is best 23 quality.

Team v Essendon IN: Treloar, Jones OUT: Hynes, Davidson West has credits in the bank but he needs to start improving, I think. Croft had a very quiet game but I think he plays a very structurally important part as that third tall/relief ruck and has better upside than Lewis.

Brisbane lions selection is a stacked side: Linc McCarthy misses out as we thought. Noah Answerth has been given another week and decided not to rush, they were worried no practice matches so he’ll play VFL. Kiddy Coleman named, and named in the backline as I’ve said for now 6 weeks he will sit in the backline but they tried half forward for flexibility. Jasper Fletcher on a wing, he is the move they made to get Coleman back where he plays his best. Oscar Allen in and ready to go. Cam Rayner passed the fitness test and is good to go. Zane Zakostelsky will debut as I reported earlier and the other day. Darcy Fort straight back in also Dan Annable one of the 3 emergencies so the lions want him amongst it, he will get his chance. Sam Darcy in, Bailey Dale out. I’ve tried my absolute best this off season and pre season, don’t get them all right but I just report what I see. 90% hit rate isn’t bad. Enjoy the footy everyone! Out of 66 CJ had 6 bad plays….. So 90.9% of CJs snaps were good/Elite 9.1% were bad….
