@prmet @TFADpod @AgainstAtheismX A few non-Christian historians of the time who wrote on Him include Josephus, Tacitus, Pliny the Younger, Mara bar Serapion, Thallus, Suetonius, Lucian, Celsus and Phlegon. Including Christian writers it's a lot more than that.

@RTB_HRoss What do you think the authors of Genesis were trying to convey? That the flood covered THE whole world that they knew only a part of, or the flood covered just THEIR whole world?

The number one reason why people reject the Genesis account of Noah's Flood as literal history is they think the Bible teaches the Flood was global. But, the Bible teaches a worldwide flood & refutes a global Flood (Psalm 104:6-9). People today think there's no difference between global & worldwide. That's because everyone today is a global citizen. It was the whole world of humanity & their animals that was impacted by Noah's Flood (2 Peter 2:5). At that time, there were no humans inhabiting Antarctica, Australia, and North and South America.

I’m here to tell you that the odds of there being life on other planets is approximately ZERO. Read my book IS ATHEISM DEAD? & listen to my interview with @LA_MARZULLI and you’ll know why I say this.

Are aliens actually demons? @LA_MARZULLI breaks down the coming deception, the UFO narrative, and why fear and chaos could open the door for a fake alien rescue. 📷 TIMESTAMPS (0:00) Intro (0:50) L A Marzulli Joins Show (2:33) Three I Atlas Black Swan (9:00) Vatican And Alien Baptism (13:19) Days Of Noah And Nephilim (31:20) Nuclear Event And Great Deception

Morality without God is bullshit. (And yes, I have read the contemporary metaethics, and I still hold that conclusion.)

@ericmetaxas Yep. In my reading of the American constutition, I am constantly reminded of the parts in the Bible where it says to choose your leaders by democratic vote, to allow people the right to free speech and the right to firearms. The Bible was ahead of its time!

It was the Christian faith—not Islam, not atheism—that laid the foundation for this country.

@GregorysServant @CapturingChrist When you're making statements about reality, not being able to test non-physical things through physical means is kind of a defeater. Especially if your mindset incorporates supernatural involvement in your daily life by deities or their enemies, like I used to believe.

This mirrors atheists that claim there's not a "shred" of evidence for God even though there are literally dozens of good arguments for God in the philosophical literature. Finding the papacy in the Bible (Matt 16/Is 22) is what convinced me that Catholicism is true.
Danny@Truth_matters20

"The Papacy is unbiblical. There's not one tiny shred of evidence in Scripture for the Papacy, nor is there any evidence for cardinals, bishops, priests, or nuns. It's all an invention of men and demons to create an illusion of spirituality and transcendence." —John MacArthur
