The rookies are all up to soon, needed to see more at bats in triple A with coaching on patience, plate discipline and pitch recogntion. They will have great days and horrid days against major league pitching. But Mets have no other choices with the IL loaded and a bloated salary position. Roller coaster ride for rest of season.

The Mets’ skid continues. 7-2 loss to the Reds.
Nolan McLean has hit his first real rough patch in the majors. His ERA has jumped from 2.92 to 4.40 over the last two outings.
Offensively, the struggles keep mounting. Two runs or fewer now in five straight games. Nick Lodolo entered tonight having allowed 12 ER in 15 innings this season and held the Mets to 1 run over 6 IP.

Are even the die-hards watching every game now a days? #Mets

Firing won't make this team better. Expecting the rookies to save the year is inane. We have mis-matched players, no chemistry yet to speak of, no team, no cohesion. Bullpen has holes needs consistency and length. Lineup is a pitcher's dream, avoid Soto and work around the odd base hit. They aren't even getting walks to get on base. Admit the Emperor has no clothes, call it a rebuild year and play the rookies.

@jayroo69 @JebraFaushay No, no, no. Hollywood today would require a Hispanic to play Scarface. Rachel Zeigler.

I like the young guys spirit and ambition ---- but
Are they going to still play them when the high priced dreck comes off the IL? Are they going to sit Roberts and Polanco to keep Ewing and Vientos? Sit Baty when Lindor comes back and move Bichette back to third? Youthful energy is fun to watch, would enjoy watching this lineup grow into The Mets. No faith in managment doing that tho.

PEACEFUL. PROUD. UNBREAKABLE. | My Urgent Message Before Saturday
The world will be watching on Saturday. Please stay peaceful, stay disciplined, and do not give the media or the establishment what they want. No aggression. No masks. No excuses. Families, women, and children will be there. This is about showing strength through unity, discipline, and pride in our country. If provoked, smile and rise above it. Britain cannot afford to fail.

@SNYtv @chelsea_janes If you bring up these kids now just admit this is a rebuild year and go with the kids. Eat the contracts of the dreck you signed over the winter and build a young Mets team. Just admit the emperor has no clothes.
English

📬 Why not bring up A.J. Ewing or Nick Morabito?
📬 If you were David Stearns, what would you do?

@jk_rowling @damekatydenise_ Good God Woman! That crap is so sweet you'll get diabetes! Try the Affentaler Spatburgunder, the bottle styling is also appropriate for the occasion

English

@damekatydenise_ The moment he goes I’m glugging that bottle down in one.
English

Which one will still be around by Friday:
@jk_rowling’s bottle of Cherry Lambrini or Keir Starmer?
It’s too close to call.
