@alsowoodie Thanks.The North rim is unfortunately closed in the Winter month.The south rim is open though.On big snow storms you def need all wheel or 4 wheel drive to get to the park. Jan/Feb typically gets amazing snow storms.

@THECGSELWAY I want to visit in the winter so bad. That's a lovely view/capture. How was it getting around with all the snow? Did you see both the north and south rims?

This last Winter in Jan 2023 here in Arizona I traveled to The Grand Canyon 6 different trips in a short period of time. It had record amounts of snowfall making for unreal conditions.This was my view at sunrise!

One week ago I was sitting at my condo about an hr before sunset and looked on my phone at the radar for storms and to my surprise there was a storm only 6 miles north of me. I quickly grabbed my gear and drove north up I-17 Hwy and pulled over into the desert.
