Hey everyone, so while listening to the 5000 Days series… all it can say is that it has truly inspired me to in a sense “Flex my Existence”… not in an arrogant manner but to remind myself that goals set for yourself no matter how “outside the box” can be hit if you just don’t lose your grasp on that idea. Once doubt sets in, it’s hard to uproot that… Once @BrianRoemmele started this 5000 Days series and created the Zero-Human Company, it was like the Sun finally breaking after the long dark night of the soul. With what’s about to happen with AI is going to be a huge advantage to us common folk if we master this fear of something so outside our understanding. The really big stuff is still a couple years away so now it’s important learn and think outside the box while this is still in its infancy. With all the noise, I know it’s hard to focus… that’s the point, to keep us from working together. We all have biases that were taught to us that we need to work past and I won’t stop trying to get past mine. If you consider yourself basically a Good Person who is tired of the jar being shaken then I’m in your corner. Now that I’m done venting that 😂, the reason for the post is Episode 9: The Artisans Awakening inspired me to finish this project that a few Master Masons say they’ve not seen before. It’s been almost 2 years with many weeks/months of doubt on my ability to pull this off since I’ve never sculpted stone before. I’ve worked with granite for 3 years and polish local river rocks but have never sculpted. The funny part is this sculpture is the Embodiment of Transformation that was locked in this solid piece. Thought it pretty fitting that it’s finished now. We can get through this together everyone 🤙

Personally I will not be working on direct AI solutions any time soon. My focus is on power for AI. We will need power in Space and on Earth. Without power AI stalls and power requirements are not falling any time this side of 2050. My take is that solar thermal, with a good enough expander concept, gives the best bang for the buck. Of course if you have "yet another expander" it also works to provide more power from any thermal source, including Nuclear, plus as it is thermal, if you can get it to consume the DC heat, that is also a +++

I'm going to be a stickler here. I bought a 2013 Model S, which I recently sold at a heavily depreciated value. I don't see that changing with the Tesla cars today and in the near future. Unless the computers in the cars can be easily upgraded, the car is no different than the all too easily discarded computers of today.

Most folks have no idea how powerful a tools they have and will have, at hand, to build a new life as they leave the old world behind. We do. We are the only community I know of that is not thinking about the future, they are building the future. Join us and meet you cohort!
