Basketball coaches & recruiters: Could you spare 30 minutes for my dissertation research? I’m studying how coaches evaluate high school basketball players on social media. Can you join me for a Zoom interview—or connect me with an assistant coach? Please DM me. 🏀

I'm interviewing men’s college basketball coaches and recruiting staff about how social media is changing the recruiting process. I'm seeking participants from NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, and NAIA institutions. Participation involves one confidential, 30–45-minute virtual interview scheduled at your convenience and your participation will help me complete my doctoral research and degree program. If you are a coach or recruiting professional, please consider participating in this research study. If you know a coach or recruiter, I would be grateful for an introduction. 🏀 Share this post! 🏀 DM me 🏀 Schedule an interview: scheduler.zoom.us/trenay-bynum-t… .@NABC1927 DM a few coaches you know to help me out.

Can you introduce me to a college men’s basketball coach or staff with recruitment responsibilities? I’m conducting doctoral research exploring how men’s college basketball coaches view social media in the recruiting process. I’m seeking introductions to current men’s basketball coaches and recruiting staff at NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, and NAIA institutions. Athletic directors, associate athletic directors, basketball operations staff, and others with strong connections to college athletics can also help by opening a door. Know someone who may be willing to participate? Interested in participating yourself? 🏀Send me a direct message 🏀Email me at trenay.perrybynum@belmont.edu 🏀Learn more about the study: trenayperrybynum.com/my-study

@WestJet This flight attendant was just amazing tonight, keeping us calm and positive after a two hour delay on 3273 from @yyc to @yxxairport. I was rushing to take a photo to avoid holding up the queue and didn't catch her name tag! Can you please pass this on? Thanks!

One of the biggest shifts after 50 isn't physical. It's identity. Many women aren't just grieving an empty nest, they're grieving the version of themselves that was needed every day. Naming that feeling is often the first step toward moving forward. #UGC #UGCCreator

My most valuable advice to young professionals is to practice leading from where they are. As @clayscroggins reminds us, leadership does not require a title. It begins with taking ownership of responsibilities, priorities and follow-through. That consistency builds trust. When I write a recommendation, I ask myself: Do I trust this person to lead from where they are?
Clay Scroggins@clayscroggins

If you learn how to lead when you’re not in charge, you’ll be far more effective when you finally are. Because leadership isn’t authority.
It’s influence. A clip from a recent event with Milo’s Tea Co. 👇

@yardtalkhbcu I'm encouraged when I see learning opportunities extend past the classroom. Reminds me of walking to my neighborhood corner for sewing & baking classes. Sadly, I didn't receive encouragement from my busy single mother, but the joy of learning was a seed shown on furtile ground.

How to give feedback without being a jerk: 1. Be a coach, not a critic. Aim to help, not attack. 2. Don't assert opinion as fact. You're sharing your subjective reaction, not the objective truth. 3. Be honest, not brutal. Be direct in what you say, but kind in how you say it.
