@tryphon342 F1 already ran V10 engines without refueling in the early part of the V10 era (before refueling returned in 1994). Even after refueling came back, the cars were designed to run full race distances if needed.

It's almost as if we've had nearly 30 years of technological improvement since to help prevent this. If you want V10s, you need refueling. We don't live in the 90s anymore. We have sensors.
