Insiders have not turned bearish despite the Iran War: 26.4% of US publicly traded companies saw net insider purchases in March, the highest in 5 months. This reading is up from 20.9% in February and marks the 2nd consecutive monthly increase. This is also above the 10-year average of 23.5%. Corporate executives stepped in to purchase their own stock after the market pullback last month, a sign of confidence in a recovery. Meanwhile, in the energy sector, the proportion of companies with net insider purchases fell -1.6 percentage points, to 17.5%, suggesting insiders do not expect oil prices to stay elevated for long. Insiders are bullish of their stocks.

@TheOneLanceB I think much of the disaster scenarios mentioned in the video happen when no active mgmt of option trades are done. (E.g. closing trades when PTs are hit). But yes, do share your 4 guidelines how you safely sell options as well. I’m always interested in learning more.

M2 money supply is only increasing due to debt monetisation, and as long as that heads higher asset prices head higher, so yea it’s tough to make a case for prolonged short swings.

Curious anyone’s thoughts… It seems that most of the swing traders on here (@Qullamaggie @Peoplewish @Banana3Stocks @RealSimpleAriel @1ChartMaster) tend to focus on swing momentum longs. -Is that solely due to the fact that markets tend to go up over time? -Is that bc you get far more asymmetry with longs? -Do most of these traders also apply swing shorts using the inverse of their methodology? -Would they do so if in a prolonged bear market? -Or is a long bias that powerful for their data? Most stocks tend to be stairs up and elevator down so seems like shorts could be higher ROI per day?

@TedHZhang @BillAckman Yea I’ve been a fan of his since I started Trading in 2010. I saw his meteoric rise clocking 2 super years before the fall, where everything he bought went down immediately on disclosure. 99% would be crushed, but the exercise and diet piece is a major piece.

@StoicTA As I said in another thread: AI is good, but markets are a level 2 chaos system mathematically. Thus by nature, it will be impossible to conquer by AI. But humans that can detect regime changes well augmented by AI, yes that will be big & replace pure discretion.
