What if the discourse around wealth -- UBI, inequality, etc.. -- is looking at the wrong thing entirely? What if wealth isn't money? If wealth was just money, why do so many people that get large windfalls end up back where they started? And why do wealthy people that go bankrupt seem to have an easier time getting back to wealth?

I'm about 2 hours into watching @Asmongold play Mixtape and this shit is insufferable trash. I honestly hope every part of the game industry that gave this a 10/10, the same score as Ocarina of Time, crashes and burns. I've had enough of this bullshit.

@Vandal__Prime @Sabrecobra @DAKKADAKKA1 I like Starfield too, dropped in 200 hours. I would say its an 8/10, nowhere near what critics gave it. But not half as bad as the internet hate either. Mixtape I'm betting is a 6/10 but I can't be bothered to find out.

@Sabrecobra @DAKKADAKKA1 Starfield (with mods) is actually good and is a game. Mixtape is a mediocre 4/10 2 hours experience that plays itself. Still, Starfield is not a 10/10 but it has a lot going for it, unlike Mixtape. It's an unpopular opinion but I actually like Starfield. 😉

I hate to my negative about content here but this is an actual industry plant. It’s ok to like this sort of game, but how it’s presenting itself hurts actual indie games. - real licensed music - massive array of custom assets and cutscenes, fully voiced too - insanely pricey press kits sent out to small and big CCs - presents itself as “indie”. This is not “indie”. This is a refined product that was made for millions. Most likely a medium sized team of 12-30 full time for years. This kind of low hanging fruit stealing + indie labeling hurts actual small dedicated teams of real game devs. There will be actual indie devs that miss out on awards this season because of this extremely well funded AA title masquerading as an indie.

@pureMetatron This is similar to why I think you can be catholic and believe in evolution. Why wouldn't an all powerful being create beings that improve themselves over time? You think the earth would function if it needed periodic updates for outdated versions? :p

Even if the White House released a public statement tomorrow saying aliens exist and they have proof, it would not challenge the Christian faith at all. Two possibilities. 1 - They are demons in disguise. 2 - They were also created by God. I lean towards the second one because I think it makes sense that God created an entire universe and then he would populate it. Why so much space and celestial bodies just to populate a single planet? What do you think?
