Tomorrow will mark my last shift with Toronto Fire Services. It's been a great 37 years. I have been so rewarded with this career and so proud to have been a Toronto Fire Fighter. Tough day as I will miss the camaraderie of the men and women I have been blessed to work with.

Jim will be greatly missed by the @TPFFA and @opffa Firefighters across Ontario. A gentleman at golf, a friend at the hockey rink and a master of law. Thanks for making my arguments make sense.

It is time to actually take a look at how many fire trucks parked in stations are properly staffed to protect this city. It takes people to drive them.

I’ve always thought this was a good analogy.
