I did nothing.
Wished that morning gap down had stayed opened, but they flushed it up quickly to suck people in, then pulled the rug. Classic.
So I continue to wait and do exactly nothing.
Congrats to everyone who timed their short calls better than I did on the 100 point run up. It always looks so easy after the move is done. Much harder when you’re live and have to actually click the order button. I respect anyone who can pull the trigger in real time.
This game isn’t easy. It will test you.
I’m sticking to my game plan. It keeps me out of too much trouble. I’m in the bucket @NickGibbsIAG describes as “already made my 10x and now just trying to draw income.”
Understanding which bucket you’re in changes everything about how you play. I’ve found my lane and I try my best to stay in it.
Patience over FOMO.

Thoughts on today’s trades $TSLA
I did nothing.
Sat back, watched the market, and genuinely enjoyed the day. It felt great.
Morning gap down had me thinking about selling some puts, but I want to wait for the 411 gap to fill or at least 2-3 days after the first red day. So I stayed patient and did zero. Then the stock ripped midday and it was glorious.
This is the kind of environment I want to live in for a while — not worrying about anything. My short calls are underwater, yes. No stress. I’ll manage the 400s up and out when the time is right. No rush, they can sit for a few more weeks.
Meanwhile all my short puts and underlying shares are printing money and the accounts are making new ATHs almost daily.
This is the life.
It’s something an all-in $TSLA investor rarely gets to experience.
Grateful for these kinds of days.

I was going to host a spaces but might just have @grok argue with me here about my all in Tesla investment. Grok can convince me to not sell calls on my 10,000 shares which I use half roughly to generate income from. I’ll also use some margin to sell puts.

@WR4NYGov Warren, your missing the point. Tesla should intentionally make defective cars that are unattractive and prone to failure so they don’t sell as many cars as the competition. That way everyone get to drive shitty cars and we are all equally miserable. Equality is key.

If you stop and to the point t she’s making it’s about getting so big that you can dominate the market and force out competition. It affects the entire economy for both the workers you’re underpaying and the consumer who has fewer retailers to buy goods and from. That great for the billionaire class but not so good for the rest of us.

The bottom line:
covered calls are great when the stock doesn't go up.
When it rallies, they absolutely suck.
Covered Calls aren't a "Good" or "Bad" idea.
Correctly predicting what the stock does is the best idea.
I sell covered calls only tactically when I think it's appropriate, and I am willing to pull the plug at any moment - same as with short puts.
It works like a charm but requires real work and attention.

That’s real cash that funds our life. My high-conviction buddy: 150 shares, zero calls. Stock rips to $1,000. My outcome: • 6,000 shares called away → $1,000,000 realized gain • Still own 4,000 shares with $2,400,000 in unrealized gains Buddy’s outcome: $90,000 total gain This is exactly what my life on X looks like — people telling me I’m stupid for selling covered calls. I’d rather make hundreds of thousands in premium every year, sleep well at night, and still participate in the massive upside with the uncovered portion than pray for a moonshot with a tiny position. Different strokes for different folks, but the numbers don’t lie.

Young people massively underestimate how their public social media can kill high-paying job offers I have personally seen 5 offer letters pulled in NY over social media content. All were 300k plus total comp roles. Real cases If you are aiming for 85k forever, you are probably fine If you want bigger things, read this
