Left the track 15 minutes after checkered flag. Wind was picking up, and dust storms rolling in on our way to DFW. Would have been cool to have all the planned pyro and stuff, but understand why they had to move up the start time.

Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix has therapy dogs walking around with their handlers. You can pet them all you want. It's incredible. This is Pyper and she's perfect. Makes up for the airport finding a plot of land 60 miles to the west and deciding "Rental car center goes here."

I’m supposed to be asleep, but I found the @IndyCar Phoenix replay on FS2, and now I can’t turn it off. I worked this race, I have it taped…and yeah, I’m watching the replay anyway.

@jack_harvey93 In short, yeah, I liked the old way better.

@jack_harvey93 30min + delay to board everyone, gate check bags, and fix some airplane “stuff.” I was told Sunday: Group 1 now only rows 1-3 and exit rows. Flight attendant guards overheads for rows 4-6, since those are also premium seats. Today’s aircraft has new seats, but old overheads.

Couple flights into the season now, think I prefer the old Southwest boarding…. Thoughts?

I just learned from @scottdixon9 that the Indycars cannot drop down to the apron in the dogleg like NASCAR does. I mean, not with THAT attitude, Scott.

Personal opinion (biases noted), but I’m enjoying @SPEEDonFOX with @KevinHarvick and @wbuxtonofficial. It’s just so much fun to watch people that enjoy all kinds of racing talk honestly about how things went in the last week(end). Honest racing conversations - I love it!

There are enough skilled drivers spotting, engineering, and crewing in NASCAR that it wouldn’t be hard to have a full field if they swapped roles with the drivers for a special event.

Iran cannot "close" the Straight of Hormuz. It's not a canal. It doesn't have a gate. What Iran can do is make it so dangerous that insurers won't cover ships or make it so expensive that they won't risk it. But nothing stopping a ship from making a run. It ain't closed.
