Potato is a fabulous greyhound with Irish tattoos. He was imported to Spain by a hunter and then left at a refuge. It’s a bit odd as they obviously pay money to get them yet so many Irish greyhounds are showing up in shelters right now. His personality is just nothing but perfection. He’s wonderful ❤️ Sadly tho as with so many dogs right now he came up with leishmania positive now making his chances of re-homing much slimmer. He’s been treated and he’s thriving. Imagine being out and about with this handsome man… absolutely stunning! Just 3yrs old he’s looking for a home ❤️🙏🏻

STATEMENT ISSUED AT 12:15 ON 28 MAY 2026 STATEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE ISLE OF MAN TT RACES Following an incident involving a Sidecar team during the third Qualifying Session of the 2026 Isle of Man TT Races, the Race Organisation initiated an immediate technical and operational review to assess the circumstances surrounding the incident and the continued participation of the Sidecar class at the event. Following that review, in conjunction with the Event Promoter, a decision has been taken to suspend the Sidecar class for the remainder of the 2026 Isle of Man TT Races. This precautionary measure has been implemented in the interests of competitor and spectator safety and reflects the Race Organisation’s commitment to reviewing all aspects of event safety and operational delivery whenever an incident occurs. All sidecar competitors and teams involved in the event have been briefed by Race Officials on the outcome of the initial review and the next stages of the assessment process. We recognise the long-standing history of Sidecar racing at the TT, together with the commitment of the competitors, teams and supporters involved in the class. This decision has not been taken lightly. However, the safety of competitors, spectators, marshals, officials and all those involved in the event must remain the priority. 🚨 ALLEGED DOG ABUSER - ST ANNES ON SEA BLACKPOOL. IF YOU KNOW HIM, HAVE A WORD From another social media post: Does anyone recognise this specimen of humanity who was on the beach - south of the pier - about 7.45 this evening (Wednesday 27 May)? My friend and I (with our dogs) noticed him as he was hitting both of his dogs. He then picked one up either by its collar or scruff of the neck and let it hang! We could hear what he was saying to them (loudly) and it wasn’t pleasant. Out came my camera and I pretended to be videoing the beach but was taking this photo. He sort of walked towards us and as he did so the language he used towards the dogs changed from very unpleasant to more favourable. As he came closer I said I’d noticed the change in what he was saying to the dogs - well the beast was unleashed and a tirade of foul abusive and threatening language came forth - he was nearly screaming at us. Other people heard him as we were asked what all that was about. My only concern was for the dogs - 2 Yorkshire terriers (or similar) who seemed to be fastened together by a length of chain - could have been a ‘brace’ for walking 2 dogs on one lead. Junior is a 6 month old Malinois cross Mastiff. He is available and looking for a new home through no fault of his own. Junior would be best in a home with no other pets due to his size and dominance over other dogs. He is young enough to be trained however we will be very specific in his new home as we'd like someone who is use to the breed and can demonstrate that they can train him and offer him the guidance he needs. Junior hasn't been around kids much. He would be best with older children of a teenage age due to his size. He is chipped and eats meat pouches and biscuits. Junior is use to being left on his own for any length of time and is great meeting new people. He hasn't met any cats. Junior is okay on the lead but will need training with this. He is also registered at the vets and loves playing with toys. He is walked around 3 times a day and likes to go to the park.
