Today, the recently appointed CMA Board of Directors convened its first meeting under the leadership of Chairperson @MarcHoltzman. The Board assessed the 2024/25 fiscal year performance & set priorities for the current year to reinforce the Authority’s role &overall performance.

Students of @PUR_RWANDA , Karongi Campus have held a study visit at @CMARwanda and @RwStockExchange with objectives of gaining practical insights on financial market and how the securities(bonds,T-bills,debentures,equities, commercial papers,..) are traded in Rwanda.

CMA received students from @PUR_RWANDA under its investor education programme. Students were urged to take part in the capital market as future professionals and investors. The session covered investor protection, market products, & how the capital market drives Rwanda’s growth.

This evening in Washington, D.C., President Kagame met with Senator Lindsey Graham @LindseyGrahamSC. They discussed ways to deepen collaboration between Rwanda and the United States in various key strategic areas, including conservation, security and economic partnership.

President Kagame hosted a dinner with Members of Congress including @SenatorRounds, Chairman @RepBrianMast, @SenKevinCramer, @SenatorRicketts, @RepRonnyJackson, and @RepTrentKelly. Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation through key initiatives that contribute to lasting stability and prosperity.
