300 miles?! Moderate tropo last night brought a couple of @NWSTallahassee Florida NOAA Weather Radio stations to Mandeville, LA. First caught WWH20 (Bethlehem, FL) on 162.450 at 260 miles which is more than 6x the normal range for NOAA Weather Radio stations! Then, caught WWF86 (East Point, FL) on 162.500 at 313 miles, nearly 8x the usual 40 mile range of a NOAA Weather Radio station.
