@TYOBoomer DPI is only 15 yards if it occurs at or beyond 15 yards. If it happens before 15 yards it's a spot penalty. You commit offensive PI 2 yards down field it's a 15-yard penalty. Commit it on defense 2 yards downfield and it's a 2-yard penalty. They are NOT the same.

I don’t get this either. We pay much more in the UK and are much poorer yet petrol prices are not seen as a political issue in the same way, sure we drive a bit less and on average have more efficient cars, but it still doesn’t add up. Domestic energy prices however, those are much more politically relevant than in the US.

Idk why gas prices are so culturally salient in america. You could drive an hour a day and it probably comes to less than $3k/year. Is it because they put the price on billboards along the road?
