Every year, hundreds of thousands of people are diagnosed with Lyme disease, yet funding and awareness still lag far behind many other major illnesses. Behind every statistic is a child who missed school, a parent who lost time with family, or a patient searching for answers. We need more research, better diagnostics, improved treatments, and greater education to help change the future of tick-borne diseases. 💚🌎 Awareness leads to action. Action leads to change. There are currently 12 red state with zero Democrat representatives. That’s nearly 1/4 of US states. Republicans are trying to add 5 more through gerrymandering. That would be more than 1/3 of all states. It’s time to outlaw gerrymandering!

WOAH 🚨 The taxpayer money laundering must be INSANE “The Federal Reserve has revealed that US NGOs have more in assets than the combined 2025 GDP estimates for Japan, Germany and India combined — The combined assets held by US NGOs equals $14.2 trillion of your tax money” “India and Japan's GDP each just over $4 trillion, Germany $5 trillion, about $13.5 trillion together. Guess what? The combined assets held by US NGOs equals $14.2 trillion of your tax money and that of your children and grandchildren and great-great-great-great-great grandchildren. Ever wonder why everything is so absolutely unaffordable today? It's not actually rocket science. Government has forgotten the fundamental reasons for which it was formed to serve and protect our civil liberties. It has inverted the entire formula and decided that we are the ones here to serve, to work, and through our individual labors to support their desires and the behemoth of a bureaucracy that has emanated from those desires.” As of 2025, United States nonprofits held about $13.4–14.1 trillion in total assets. Including cash, investments, real estate, etc It has grown from $7 trillion a decade ago This is based on Federal Reserve data

A personal note to everyone following me. I want to tell you why I'm doing this. Not the business pitch. Not the platform. The real reason. Five years ago I had a heart attack on a tennis court. I was 52 years old. I was rushed to Stamford Hospital. They put a stent in my heart. I survived. A lot of people don't. They handed me a bag of statins and told me I'd be on them for life. Within three months the side effects were brutal. I was losing my memory. Awful aches and pains. My body was falling apart. I was depressed. I was miserable. I felt like I wanted to die. That's when my daughter sat me down and said something that changed the direction of my life. She said "Dad, you're not the same person. You need to change." She was right. I wasn't the same person. And I needed to change everything. I went to my cardiologist and said I want off the statins. He told me I'd die of a heart attack on a Monday if I stopped taking them. So I fired him. And then I was alone. No doctor. No plan. Just me, YouTube videos, forums, studies I barely understood, learning from strangers on the internet whether I was going to live or die. I had no idea if tomorrow would be another heart attack. I did it all manually, in the dark, by myself. It took me years. But slowly I figured it out. I changed what I ate. I changed how I lived. I reversed every single risk factor that put me in that hospital bed. Zero drugs. Metabolic age 43. Healthier at 58 than I was at 40. But here's the thing that stayed with me through all of it. The anger. Not at the doctors. Not at the nurses. At the system. At how hard it was to find the truth. At how many people are going through what I went through right now and don't have the resources or the time or the knowledge to find their way out. I'm a former professional tennis player. I have a finance background. I have access to information and people that most patients don't have. And it STILL almost killed me. It still took me years to figure out what should have been told to me in 10 minutes in that hospital room. What about the single mom working two jobs who gets handed a bag of statins and doesn't have time to read a single study? What about the 65 year old man who trusts his doctor completely because he's supposed to? What about the kid whose parents are feeding him seed oils and cereal because that's what the food pyramid says is healthy? Those people can't help themselves. Not because they're stupid. Because the system is designed to keep them in the dark. That's what HealthTruth does. Everything I had to do alone in the dark — we make it simple. Your own truth feed of content. Upload your labs and get an AI coach to give you real feedback. Speak to doctors. Join communities of people going through what you're going through. All the things I had to piece together by myself not knowing if tomorrow I'd be dead from another heart attack — we built it into one place. I didn't build this to make money. I've been in finance my whole career. If I wanted to make money I'd stay in finance. I built this because my daughter told me I needed to change. And the change that mattered most wasn't my diet. It was my purpose. The first stage of HealthTruth is completely free. You'll be able to upload your blood work and get real analysis. Real insights. Real truth about what your numbers actually mean. Not what a 10-minute doctor visit can cover. The full picture. Free. For everyone. Anywhere in the world. We will have a premium tier eventually because we have to run this like a business to keep it alive. If you want deeper AI coaching, direct connection to our doctors, advanced protocols — that will cost something. Because four doctors and an engineering team can't work for free forever. But the mission is education. The mission is truth. The mission is pulling people out of the dark and showing them what their doctor was never trained to tell them. That's what you'll see on this channel. Content. Education. Studies. Data. Charts. Truth. Not selling. Not fear. Just the information that the system has been hiding from you for 50 years. I'm grateful for every single one of you who followed me. When I posted my first thread I had zero followers. The fact that thousands of you are here now tells me something important: people are hungry for the truth. You know something doesn't add up. You're right. It doesn't. Thank you for being here. Thank you for sharing these threads with people you care about. Thank you for asking questions and pushing back and holding me accountable. We're just getting started. — Mark Kaplan Founder, HealthTruth Heart attack survivor. Zero drugs. Healthier at 58 than 40. South Africa born. America made. The amount of people selling their toys, cars, etc. with the words "Moving to the lower 48" or "Moving back to the lower 48" is quite concerning considering these are obviously people that contribute to society. They are the workers and the life blood of Alaska. We are losing these people in mass. Our Legislature seems content and happy that people are leaving. The Governor @GovDunleavy has not said a word about the mass migration from Alaska. It is sad to see, I don't hear or see "HOPE" or "FUTURE" coming out of Juneau. I hear how we need taxes, we need to regulate the Pipeline and even Cathy Giessel the Weasel is actively asking the one developer building the pipeline to give up proprietary information to the state and release their financials / plan for the pipeline. This is not being done to save Alaska or to protect Alaska. It is meant to put a barrier on the pipeline, one that can't be easily removed. If the Legislature / Governor / Arabella Advisors / Assemblies in FBX, ANC, and Juneau want a national park. I think based on what I am seeing online, it is only going to get worse. I see tons of job postings and businesses trying to find employees, they are leaving and they won't be coming back.

🧠 Lyme Found in 5/5 Alzheimer’s Brains In groundbreaking research, Alan MacDonald detected Borrelia DNA associated with Lyme disease in all 5 Alzheimer’s brain samples studied from the Harvard Brain Bank. The bacteria were found in: • Amyloid plaques • Brain tissue • Dying nerve cells This research raises important questions about the potential role of infections in neurodegenerative disease. At the LivLyme Foundation, we believe early detection and continued research are critical to understanding the long-term impacts of tick-borne infections. Knowledge drives progress. Awareness drives change. ✅ Learn more: 🌐 livlymefoundation.org #LymeDisease #AlzheimersResearch #TickBorneDisease #LivLyme #LymeAwareness #BrainHealth #MedicalResearch #TickTracker #NeurodegenerativeDisease #PublicHealth

Analysis of the Alaska Permanent Fund Investment in Three Bears Alaska Executive Summary This briefing document examines the strategic investment made by the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation (APFC) in Three Bears Alaska, a regional grocery and retail chain. Orchestrated through the Alaska Future Fund and managed by Barings LLC in partnership with Westward Partners, this multimillion-dollar acquisition of a strategic minority stake represents a significant shift toward in-state capital deployment. While the investment has fueled a rapid statewide expansion—including new store constructions and the acquisition of existing fuel and supply businesses—it has also generated controversy. Critical concerns center on a lack of transparency regarding the public fund's involvement and early financial performance data showing that in-state private equity investments are currently underperforming compared to global benchmarks. Investment Framework and Mechanism The investment in Three Bears Alaska is the result of a structured program designed to stimulate the Alaskan economy using state-managed funds. The Funding Source: The investment was made by the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation (APFC), the entity responsible for managing the state's $70+ billion savings account. It is distinct from the Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) program itself, though it utilizes the capital that generates those dividends. The In-State Mandate: In 2018, the APFC board established a 200 million in-state investment program. Half of this capital (100 million) was allocated to the Alaska Future Fund. Management and Partnership: The Alaska Future Fund is managed by Barings LLC, a global investment firm. To facilitate the Three Bears deal, Barings partnered with Westward Partners, a private equity firm based in Seattle. Execution: In February 2022, this partnership acquired a strategic minority stake in Three Bears Alaska, transitioning the company from a traditionally family-owned, mid-sized chain into a private equity-backed enterprise. Operational Impact: Rapid Statewide Expansion The injection of private equity and Permanent Fund capital transformed Three Bears Alaska’s growth trajectory, enabling a "massive statewide expansion and buying spree." New Infrastructure Development The funding supported the construction of new retail outlets in several key Alaskan locations: North Pole Eagle River Cooper Landing Saxman Strategic Acquisitions Beyond organic growth, the capital allowed Three Bears to acquire established local businesses, diversifying its portfolio and footprint: Unalaska: Acquisition of a supply store. Delta Junction: Acquisition of a gas station and mini-mart. Fairbanks Area: Acquisition of multiple Sourdough Fuel convenience stores. Critical Challenges and Public Controversy The involvement of the Permanent Fund in a private retail business has met with significant public and political scrutiny based on two primary factors. 1. Transparency and Disclosure Issues The "secretive" nature of the rollout drew criticism from Alaskans and state politicians. Delayed Disclosure: While the recapitalization of Three Bears by Westward Partners was announced in early 2022, the APFC’s specific financial involvement was not officially disclosed until early 2023. Private Equity Secrecy: The standard confidentiality of private equity deals clashed with public expectations for transparency regarding the use of state funds. 2. Financial Performance Concerns The APFC’s primary mandate is to maximize returns through global investments. However, early data has raised questions about the efficacy of the in-state strategy: Bottom Quartile Ranking: Internal staff assessments in early 2023 indicated that the Alaska Future Fund’s in-state private equity investments were ranking in the bottom quartile of the APFC's overall investment portfolio. The "Long View" Argument: Fund managers and financial advisors defend the current performance, asserting that private equity ventures require a horizon of at least three to five years before their success or failure can be accurately measured. Strategic Outlook The investment in Three Bears Alaska serves as a high-profile test case for the APFC. It highlights the ongoing tension between two objectives: Economic Stimulation: Leveraging state wealth to grow local Alaskan businesses and infrastructure. Fiduciary Responsibility: Ensuring the Permanent Fund generates the highest possible returns to sustain the state's primary savings account. The ultimate success of this initiative will be determined by whether the current expansion translates into long-term financial returns that justify the initial underperformance and the move away from traditional global investment strategies. Personally I am a huge fan of 3 Bears and I think it is a great use of the PFD as an investment.

Alaska isn’t broke because we’re short on revenue we’re drowning in untapped oil/ gas/ mining potential! We’re broke because the legislature spends like drunken sailors on shore leave, endless pork, no sunset reviews that actually kill bad programs, no hard spending caps, zero real accountability. When Oil prices dip? Blame production. Visitors not paying enough? Tax the workers. Easier than cutting the fat. Thank a Voters we have doing a great job keeping them accountable. This head tax is just the latest symptom of the rot politicians hooked on outside influence (shoutout to Arabella’s election meddling) who prioritize empire-building over fiscal sanity. If we keep letting D.C. dark money buy our system, we’ll wake up one day in a high-tax, low-freedom version of every blue-state mess we’ve always mocked. Or worse we should just be recognized as a federal colony and not as a state anymore. But I’m feeling that’s now how most Alaskans feel, or maybe you do. ⁉️🤷‍♂️⁉️

This is insane. Major Nonprofit Health Systems admit: •They own the hospitals, clinics, urgent cares—basically the entire map of your town •They employ your doctors, nurses, and specialists (who are expected to hit RVU targets like sales reps) •They run their own insurance plans (yes, nonprofits with insurance subsidiaries, let that marinate) •They own the labs, imaging centers, surgery centers, and sometimes even the janitorial services •Their obligation? Expanding the “health system” brand and executive bonuses, not patient care They admit ALL of this: We’ve established on the record that the largest nonprofit health systems are not just healthcare providers. They are vertically integrated enterprises, owning hospitals, employing clinicians, and offering insurance plans that decide what care is approved. They invest heavily in real estate, operate like corporations, and enjoy tax exemptions while charging premium dollars prices for Tylenol. They are increasingly controlling every aspect of healthcare while positioning themselves as community saviors.

This is insane. Major Health Insurance Companies admit: - They own the health insurance companies - They own our doctors & clinics - They own our pharmacies - They own the PBMs who set pharmacy prices - Their obligation is increasing shareholder value They admit ALL of this “We've established on the record that the largest health insurance companies are not just insurers. They are also medical providers and pharmacies diagnosing and deciding treatment for patients. They are also PBMs, another form of middlemen managing drug benefits. They are increasingly controlling every aspect of our healthcare system.”
