I hate Indian hospitality. You walk into someone’s home and the entire thing is a performance. Achhe kapde pehne hain. Achha dikhna hai. Ghar perfect hona chahiye. Koi tez aawaz mein baat nahi karega. Aur mehmaan ko itna khana khilana hai ki wo mar he jaye. You go to America, they ask you “Would you like a tea?” If you say no, they respect it. Here, you can be on a diet, you can be full, you can be unwell , and they will still fight with you. “Samosa kyun nahi khaya? Ek dhokla aur lo. Humare liye kha lo.” It’s a performance. And we’ve normalised it for so long that we don’t even see it anymore. In my view, this needs to change. It needs to be more authentic. More real. At the end of the day, koi rishtedaar ghar aata hai and my mom used to brief me before : “ye kaju mat khaana, ye badam mat khaana, ye pehle wo khaayenge, tumhe sirf offer karna hai. Jab wo jaayenge tab khaana.” I used to feel like I was acting in a play. And I think the reason this exists is because everyone is worried about what relatives will think. I think we deserve relatives who don’t think anything. Who accept you as you are. For whom you don’t have to turn your home into a showroom. The day you make that transition - from looking perfect to letting yourself look imperfect , half your mental health issues will solve themselves. Let people see your real self.

Excited to launch India’s best Air Purifier. It’s the need of the hour and we needed one like yesterday. So we designed, engineered and produced it. Almost 2 years of R&D and 100s of hours perfecting airflow. Here is JB to the world.

Anecdote: Once during my posting in Vancouver, I visited a radio station for a live talk show. After the show, the owner met me and introduced a middle-aged couple. The man,who introduced himself as a Sarpanch in a Punjab village before coming to Canada, said they weren’t getting Indian passports because of being refugees there. When I enquired the reason for seeking asylum, he said they were being harassed in Punjab. Strangely, he claimed the harassment years after the terrorism was wiped out. Hence they migrated to Canada and got the asylum, he said.He couldn’t give satisfactory answer when I asked for the police case details etc, if any. I further asked why they chose to migrate thousands of miles away when they could have shifted to some other state in India itself. Finally, he almost admitted that they wanted to migrate and no excuse other than concocting the false case of atrocities would have helped them obtain asylum. I said what I had to say to them on their defaming own country making fictitious accusations for selfish interests as it was like abusing own mother. Before leaving from there, I told them clearly that they shouldn’t expect any out-of-turn favour and would get the service as per existing rules only. The message was clear. JaiHind🇮🇳

Nothing unusual Pant is a power hitter but doesn't have clean strokes. This power hitting game works in Test cricket as he takes on spinners and there are no fielders in the deep. In T20s, he plays with a fear of being caught at the deep. That's why you see him playing cross batted shots, one handed lofts and frequent reverse sweep

This guy was batting like he don't know how to hold a cricket bat during IPL and now playing T20 in test cricket 😭😭 Rishabh Pant's career need to be studied 😂

Most Sikhs are NOT Indians They are Punjabi, and their Sikh homeland was destroyed by the British Empire. The historic Sikh Empire (1799–1849) spanned roughly 520,000 km², an area comparable to modern-day France. After the World War 2, many “nations” got divided: Punjab, Germany, Korea Punjab became Charda and Lehnda (east and west), Germany became East and West, and Korea became North and South. Germany got unified, but I don’t see Punjab or Korea will ever get united again. When you visit DMZ (I visited last year), you see and read same stories what happened during the partition in 1947. Families thought that they would come back to their homes, got separated and never got united again. If people are telling Sikhs to go back, where? Their homeland was destroyed by the British Empire, and they were recruited to the army to fight THEIR World War. WW1-2 were not Sikh wars, BUT Sikhs still spilled their blood for them. What are they getting in exchange? Racism from the kids, whose parents were saved by Sikh Soldiers. It’s time for Sikhs to stop justifying their rights. They could even wear a Turban with a print of UK 🇬🇧 or Canada 🇨🇦 flag, their kids will never be accepted by many in those countries.

Dear Muslims/Christians, if you are planning to support CJP, ask them - "Will you work against hateful communal politics or not? Yes or no?" Dear SCs / STs / EBCs, if you are planning to support CJP, ask them - "Will you actively work for social justice and reservations in private sector, or not? Will you support ending EWS or not?" See their answers. Then, and only then, go ahead. Else, you are directly responsible for your own degradation in time.
Cockroach Janta Updates@Cockr0ach_Janta

Some people are falsely claiming that #CJP is run by other political parties. This is completely wrong. The BJP is just trying to save its skin and has started a blame game. #CJP is a pure student movement. While we welcome everyone, the real leaders are those who stand firmly with students. We respect everyone standing with us against those trying to falsely label or blame students. #CiproMovement #StudentsUnity #CJPWithStudents

I worked overtime at 100 hours - caring for poor - technically PG, not even job- still my salary was taxed at 30% My father spent hours at Ladakh - his salary too was taxed. Bc Lundjabi farmers and their insane entitlement. MSP chahiye, tax bhi nahi dena, will let Punjab water plummet to grow rice for money, insane level of casteism if you ever visit a village. Worst of the worst tbh.

“Just because someone belongs to a farming family doesn’t mean every family member is a farmer. Let me give you an example: my brother works with EY and handles major operations across the UAE. He earns crores every year through his profession. In fact, when Ratan Tata was alive, he reportedly wanted my brother to take on a major management role within his companies because of his capabilities. So why can’t a family have successful professionals and still own a good house? Do you have the courage to question corrupt politicians, or is it easier to target farmers? And if farming is such an easy, tax-free goldmine as some people claim, then why don’t they start farming themselves? I challenge anyone who thinks that way come to my place. I’ll give you 10 acres of land to cultivate free of cost. No rent, no charges. Earn your ‘tax-free income’ and then tell me how easy it is after working in 47°C heat, facing weather risks, rising costs, and uncertainty. People with zero knowledge love lecturing farmers! Idiots

I went to Kankariya Gas agency (HP distributor code - 41011925) to get a new gas connection but they told me they are not accepting new connections due to shortage of gas. However I have not seen any official government order stating the same.
