@Talvarezxyxs ik he isn't and i genuinely loved his scenes this season. but i can't help feeling a bit disappointed, especially about the lack of depth in his scenes with lestat in the past. still, i think it's something they could fix in s4 with more flashbacks :)

on another note i feel bad for assad, during all promo he was asked about armand's arc and give vague answers. everyone thought it was bc he was trying to be careful with information when in reality armand simply didn't have an established individual development arc this season

@suikamelon6 The recorded track had a richer instrument sound, but the live version traded that rich sound for Sam's voice. He made that song a hit that night. They should either do a B-side with the Beacon songs OR just come out with an album of the performance. Best seller either way.

Brutal Love live is more powerful > than the recording. So here's hoping for the live album once they do another performance.

Yeah🤣🤣🤣I remember before watching EP6, I saw a screener's so-called "spoiler" on TL saying "Lemuel is still a thing in EP6." But after actually watching EP6, I'm starting to think that screener was either genuinely dumb or just plain malicious… bcs what did we actually see? 🤷‍♀️Louis opened a restaurant just three blocks away from Lestat's Montreal home. The subtext? Even if Lestat didn't invite him to the concert, Louis already had a built-in excuse to get close to him — "just checking out the restaurant operations" 😂 🤷‍♀️Louis actually took the time to find a Lestat's bloodline to have as a "compliments from the chef". How obsessed are you with your husband's blood??? (the bar scene give us more more proof) So this is what a vampire capitalist "busy with work" does all day??? And as we all know, for vampires, nothing compares to the blood. 🤷‍♀️He only opened Lemuel's message bcs the thumbnail showed a glimpse of blonde hair and Daniel Molloy's name. (And don't even come at me with the lock screen thing-that means nothing. It merely serves to cope with other's social settings, similar to the way he presented it to Regina to display his sexuality. 🤷‍♀️Louis and Lemuel's conversations are always just "safe?" "safe." bare minimum check-ins. Lemuel's always the one calling first,and the second the formalities are over, the convo ends, colder than talking to a stranger. But Louis and Lestat? They actually TALK,back and forth, sharing opinions.We didn't get to see much of their NOLA domestic life, but this episode made it crystal clear-these two were friends and soulmates first,they actually enjoy each other's company and opinions (remember S2 when Louis made Dreamstat critique his photos?). 🤷‍♀️Your man goes to his ex's place for the night, and Louis replies with "texting from inside MY coffin." In any normal relationship, that's when the jealousy and twenty questions kick in, right? But Lemuel? Still out here acting like an AI chatbot -"safe?" "safe." 🤣 Meanwhile, Lestat's reaction to hearing Louis call out "Lem" on the phone?THAT'S what a real lover's response looks like. 🤷‍♀️ The most unhinged part? The bench scene at the end. Louis was the one who first brought up the idea of them rebuilding a life together. When he said "who else is gonna have us," I almost laughed out loud because my first thought was — uh, Lemuel??? He's literally right there???🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 So honestly, whether you look at their conversations or Louis's reactions, it's painfully obvious he NEVER saw his life with Lemuel as a romantic thing. In other words-he gives ZERO fucks about him🤷‍♀️

“claudia wouldn’t say this. claudia wouldn’t do that” the illusion of knowing claudia is precisely what the audience is meant to dismantle. she’s presented to us as a narrative vessel for louis’ self-pity, which is why she’s offended by him “honoring” an idealized version of her.

this has hands down dethroned any other forms of romantic gestures ever displayed on tv. nothing like envisioning literal STARDUST when singing about your lover’s name. endlessly falling for him like rocks in the night sky would. louis brings out the love poet in lestat.

@loustatrionics I hope they do a side B album that includes the songs from the Beacon. Cause I do agree that version of BL was vocally superior, not as elaborate as the studio version, but still better. And jic, I’m not saying this version is bad. 🤦🏻‍♀️

@irlclaudia @suikamelon6 Louis’ most beautiful smiles and starry eyes we’ve had the last two seasons were all given in this one episode. I imagine Lestat falling madly in love all over again every time Louis’ smiles at him. This is better than any romcom I’ve seen in years. ❤️‍🩹❤️

@drculasdaughter I keep waiting for this season‘s ‘vicious” or “the whole world was ready to return”, haven’t heard it yet, but if nothing comes of episode seven, then this piece will be the anthem for me for this season. The entire song collection is a keeper, even the perceived duds.
