I know this is like talking to a wall with 50 followers but I wanted to say that GPT-5.1-Codex-Max by @OpenAI is AMAZING!! I've been playing with AI for some time now - The task I wanted to accomplish is to convert my WordPress portfolio website to Nextjs. I have tried GPT 4, Gemini 3 (w/, w/o) Antigravity, Gemini CLI, and everything failed. Gemini 3 tried to visit the website, took screenshot, and fumbled that gracefully. Today I gave that task to Codex Max and it just downloaded all the assets, html in project and converted it Nextjs equivalent. With some tweaking for couple of hours, it has already done 80% of what I envisioned. I am going to play with it more till i hit my limit.

I learned a few employees got lunch together yesterday. Not a big group, just three of them. But they left the building at the same time and came back laughing. This may seem like a good thing, but it just didn't sit right with me that they were having so much fun during a team activity that wasn't planned by me. I casually asked one of them how their afternoon was. He said great, they just grabbed sandwiches. I asked who else went. He listed names that were… interesting together. I don't want to the culture here to be too "clique-y" I told him small groups can create big divides in company culture. He said it was just lunch. I wrote down “unregulated bonding cluster” and asked to be invited next time they get lunch together.

I noticed one employee wearing noise-canceling headphones. Not earbuds. The big, cushioned over-ear kind that create a tiny personal universe. I asked if everything was alright. He said yes, he’s just trying to focus. I told him we value focus, but isolation can misread as resistance to collaboration. He said he’s literally sitting at his desk doing his job. I told him we track human presence, not just output. He asked how presence is measured. I said imperfectly, which is why it's so important. Then I logged “avoiding spontaneous culture building opportunities” in his engagement profile.
