Made it out today for the fist time in nearly 2 weeks! Being housebound when you're alone is one of the awful things about living with #disability. Your mind closes in on itself, the isolation exacerbates difficult mental issues (like my depression). If you've a friend who's #disabled & alone, do check in on them. It's easy to feel left behind when you're ignored (even unintentionally). We need human contact as much as the next person, believe me.

Bin a borin day, me dad wos out for hours. I sitted on the stairs wotchin for him, I wos a sad doggy. Mum gived me lots of tummy tickles but it didn’t help. Hope he’s stayin home tomorrow! Nite nite evfuryone, see u in the mawnin xxx

⚠️Warning Spider alert ⚠️⚠️⚠️ I think you will know by now that the Nut Fairy loves spiders. This was Charlotte who lived in one of our bird boxes on the decking for many years, she was a nursery Web spider and here she is carrying her egg sac 😍 Well, my lovely husband for Valentine’s Day has bought me a tarantula Experience. I’m so excited no flowers for me just the chance to hold a giant spider. 🕷️ 🤣🐾🐾❤️ No nasty or negative comments please if you don’t like spiders just scroll on by 👍

@TangoMango9 @lilacbeagle Oh dear! Is it keeling over? We had a lovely window box full of daffodils on our kitchen window, but the day after this picture was taken we had terrible strong winds, and now they’re all lying down. Very sad 😔

I probably should have dictated this last night, but to be honest ,I was in no fit state,so it's probably best that I didn't. I just want to thank Mam for continually looking after me for almost 32 years. Most people my age are independent, and even have their own families, but the problem with being disabled as fuck is that such a thing has never been possible for me. Instead, IStill have to rely on Mam (and Dad) for some of the most basic of everyday tasks and activities. She has never ever complained, and always fought for me as hard as she possibly could. I know she'll keep doing it until she can't, and for that I will be forever grateful. Love you Mam Joe xx #MothersDay2026

Last year, my six-year-old son Callum started saying his legs hurt so much that he couldn’t walk or run. One day, he came home from school looking very pale, so we rushed him to the hospital. In just a few hours, the doctors told us that Callum had acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. This was especially hard for me because I was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in 2008 after finding a lump on my collar bone. I’m now in remission. Callum still has a long road ahead of him, with treatment that will last about three years, but he’s such a brave little boy and has the same positive attitude as I do! Right now, Callum is going through strong chemotherapy and is doing well. Thank you to everyone for supporting us, and thank you to Lisa for sharing her and Callum’s story this Mother’s Day.

😢Today I said goodbye to our @marksandspencer ‘Harvest’ collection dish, one of my favourite & most expensive items from our Wedding list 36 years ago. We still have & use, most of our beloved Harvest items which probably now qualify for UNESCO status.😂 Does anyone have any?

My little guy told me he thinks he's ugly tonight but he's the most beautiful person I've ever seen. He's been through alot this year with surgery and hospitalizations. He's strong and has scars . He's a trooper and probably stronger than any adult that would have had six screws drilled into their skull attached by a metal halo held down by weights please tell him him how perfect and beautiful this strong child is. ❤️
