@DSPetolicchio If we judge a whole religion by violent extremists, we’d have to throw your faith out. Crusades, the Inquisition, or extremist groups that use the Bible to justify violence. The Church isn't funding 'terrorism'; they’re following the parable of the Good Samaritan.

LDS has some explaining to do.

@genXcessive @PetGorilla @DiscipleFidei Your right, however, this isn't an opposing belief. Both statements are individual arguments, and distinguish between the doctrine (Exaltation) and the caricature (getting a planet like a trophy).

@TannerMrManner @PetGorilla @DiscipleFidei It’s one thing for the members to be squabbling over differences of opinion, but when the church is publishing two opposing beliefs; one intended for external consumption and the other for members. Then there’s a problem.

So. Gross. I didn’t even believe it when somebody told me this, but it’s true: the Mormon church told its missionaries to target people who experienced a recent death in the family. When you have to prey on people during their grieving process to “convert” them, you might want to take a good, long look in the mirror. I mean, why don’t you just send over a single brother to the grieving widow and sign her up for a sealing appointment while you’re at it?

Mormons hate this fact, but it's true. Joseph Smith put his face into a hat and claimed to have received divine revelation. Why would ANYBODY believe that to be true?

Mormons claim the children chose but they don't. They pressure them over and over including claiming non biblical claims like if they don't get baptized then the sin falls unto the parents. It's quite sad. Instead of children having a genuine relationship with Christ it's instead full of man made rituals and nonsense traditions that will not save you. "It's not a cult" they claim but the children say I know the church is true or Joseph smith is a prophet of God before saying anything about Christ.

The Fall did not ruin God’s plan. The Fall is part of God’s plan.

@Hail_Winter Yup, and basic child psychology says that rational thinking begins around age 7-8. Good thing our faith doesn't tell kids they may go to the burning fires of hell if they sin.
