When $BTC was at an all time high of $126k on October 6th, $TAO was around $350.
When $BTC dropped to $103k recently on October 17th, $TAO stayed strong at $350.
Now that $BTC is slowly recovering and at $107k - $108k, $TAO is at $450.
$TAO follows the same tokenomics of $BTC (21m scarcity with halving every 4 years) and the first halving of $TAO is less than 2 months away.
People are waking up to the real world disruption this “AI Bitcoin” will unfold. Just look at the subnets on Bittensor and you’ll realize how industry disrupting this actually is.
We will all look back on $450 as a gift.
I personally accumulated when I researched and found Bittensor $TAO around the $325 - $355 level. I accumulated as much as I could and staked in the Bittensor subnets. Doing so gives me the opportunity to grow my $TAO balance - much like investing in AI startup companies at sub $100m valuations.
Imagine if/when $BTC hits all time highs. How much will $TAO pump then?
This is the most exciting project in crypto and the AI industry.

Decentralized AI computing pioneer: Ala Shaabana, cofounder of @bittensor.
If you aren't paying attention to Bittensor, you should. I am seeing more and more companies building on it, and using it to run their infrastructure.
This is the most important interview I've done this year.

Bittensor is for builders
no other network compares in:
→ vision + ambition
→ evolution (fastest iteration in #deAI)
→ customizability
that’s why it’s the largest + most diverse. subnets span the full AI stack.
some already serving customers, others are building frontier tech controlled by a few giants.
the implications reach far beyond markets to how society organizes knowledge, power, and human life.
NOVA is proof: decentralized incentives can coordinate a fast growing platform that trad biotech can’t afford.

Latest Bittensor Upgrade News: 🗞️
Tomorrow we will be deploying several much-anticipated features to mainnet:
De-Registration / Registration 🛑 🟢
Starting one week from today (50,400 blocks after the mainnet deploy), subnet registrations will resume! The initial lock cost will be 2,000 TAO on day 7.
The `SubnetLimit` is being introduced starting at 128. Registrations beyond this limit will trigger deregistration of the lowest scoring subnet.
Some other parameters that have changed:
- `ImmunityPeriod` is now 4 months (down from 6 months)
- `NetworkRateLimit` has been raised from 2 days to 4 days
- `NetworkLockReductionInterval` has been set to 8 days
For more information please see Issue #1651 (github.com/opentensor/sub…) and/or BIT-0016 (github.com/opentensor/bit…).
Subnet Mechanisms (previously "Subsubnets") ♾️
Previously each subnet was capable of supporting a single "incentive mechanism" (or problem that can be solved by miners and checked by validators via yuma consensus) out of the box unless the subnet implemented complex logic to simulate multiple mechanisms manually.
Now subnets will natively support the concept of multiple mechanisms within the same subnet. This feature can be enabled at the discretion of the subnet owner, with an initial limit of 2 mechanism IDs per subnet (we plan to increase this later).
This should be a huge boon for subnets that want to have miners work on multiple problems without needing to register multiple subnets, and subnets that want to try new miner code deployment strategies such as zero downtime deployment.
Another positive effect of this change should be that multi-subnet ecosystems should feel less pressure to register multiple subnets since they will be able to do more with a single subnet, allowing them to unite multiple projects under a single market cap when desirable.
This should foster new innovations by making it easier for existing subnets to experiment in a low-cost, low-risk way.

New associated btcli commands:
btcli subnet mech count
btcli subnet mech set
btcli subnet mech emissions
btcli subnet mech emissions-split
Trim UIDs ✂️
Some subnets have grown their set of miner UIDs to be larger than they originally intended.
The Trim UIDs feature allows subnet owners in this situation to trim their set of UIDs down to 64 if and only if at least 20% of the resulting untrimmed UIDs are non-immune.
For more information please see Issue #1998: github.com/opentensor/sub…
Hyperparameter Rate Limiting ⚠️
We have introduced rate-limiting for hyperparameter changes within subnets.
This should help prevent abuse by subnet owners and reduce volatility for stakers and subnet participants.
The rate limit will be 2 tempos by default and applies to each hyperparameter individually (if you change hyperparameter A, you have to wait 2 tempos before changing it again, however this does not affect changing hyperparameter B, etc.).
The triumvirate will update this rate-limit accordingly in the future via sudo call, as needed.
For more information please see Issue #2048: github.com/opentensor/sub…
Notes 📝
A number of other smaller changes are included as well. Please see [#2066](github.com/opentensor/sub…) for the full release notes!

NOVA💊 is built different: we scale w/ incentives
AI can transform drug discovery, but most labs can’t afford the hundreds of millions it takes to build platforms.
we got a loan from @const_reborn for a subnet slot and have since grown with the help of the #bittensor community.
#dTAO made it possible to bootstrap an ever-improving platform that screens billions of molecules 24/7 while most competitors are forced to abandon platforms due to a market downturn.
few exceptions exist:
* @InSilicoMeds → $110M+ Series E, valued >$1B
* @RecursionPharma → $1.1B+ raised, ~$2.2B mcap
they’ve built SOTA products (like Boltz-2, now part of our stack) and are paving the way for the approval of AI-aided drugs.
but high cost + closed stacks limit reproducibility. smaller players get stuck in loops of bias, false positives, low novelty.
NOVA flips the model: decentralized incentives drive discovery faster, smarter, cheaper.

128 subnets. 1 $TAO supply.
The math is violent.
Look at what's happening:
$BTC halvings + ecosystem growth = Parabolic
$ETH burn + DeFi explosion = $4,800
$TAO halving + 128 subnets + AI narrative = ?
Rate cut incoming, risk-on historically expands crypto multiples.
ETF “generic listing” era, crypto inflows spill over to long-tail infra plays, possible subnets inflows.
Trade & forecasts AI boosting global trade = more justification for AI.
I call them never-ending narratives. Many miss this with AI. The innovation is just getting started.
The Supply Shock Setup:
$TAO halving approaching
Eemission cuts in HALF
128 active subnets ALL competing for the same shrinking $TAO emissions
Each subnet needs $TAO:
• Pay miners/validators
• Attract stakers
• Build liquidity pools
• Fund operations
Current Reality Check:
Top 5 subnets control majority of emissions
#64 Chutes: 7,428 holders
#56 Gradients: 4,605 holders
#4 Targon: 3,528 holders
Bottom 100+ subnets fighting for scraps
Post-Halving Pressure Points:
When emissions cut 50%:
Subnet wars intensify only the BEST survive
Weak subnets die → $TAO flows to winners
Price discovery becomes brutal
Staking APYs compress → holders won't sell
The Multiplier Effect:
Every subnet needs $TAO reserves for:
Alpha token liquidity pools
Validator stakes (minimum requirements)
Development funding
User incentives
128 subnets × $TAO requirements =
MASSIVE demand ÷ Halving supply = 🚀
The delayed bull run isn't a bug.
It's coiling the spring.

AI is not a research project.
Largest capital sink in human history.
Let that sink in.
OpenBrain:
Their research shows AI-accelerating more.
AI-R&D on the timeline.
They revised trendlines upwards.
$TAO the mechanism for intelligence itself
$1T global AI CAPEX
38 GW of peak power, 2.5% of U.S. electricity
$200B just to keep OpenBrain’s compute online
And it’s only 2026.
All of that capital, all of that energy, is being directed by centralized actors.
One or two companies deciding the future of intelligence.
That’s fragile. That’s dangerous.
Bittensor Decentralized allocation of compute.
Permissionless participation in training, inference, and data.
A monetary network where intelligence is priced, distributed, and secured.
OpenBrain shows the scale.
$TAO shows the way.

I will reserve #Bittensor ($TAO) somehow, I will hold at least 70% of my assets in $TAO. I predict $TAO market cap to reach >$10B next year.
Buy the $270-$400 price range, I will reserve it. Will sell it when it reaches over $1000/token.
@bittensor_ $TAO is a revolutionary project for AI in Blockchain, considered as a Layer0 AI of Blockchain. The project focuses on a decentralized machine learning protocol between blockchain participants >< environment.
#Bittensor uses the Proof of Intelligence (POI) consensus mechanism to create a decentralized network that enables the commercialization of artificial intelligence (AI).
The subnets on Bittensor perform the following core tasks:
➟ Machine learning model training and deployment.
➟ Data processing.
➟ Other AI-related tasks.
In Q4 2025, Bittensor will halve the block reward, unlocking $TAO tokens and increasing the total circulating supply to 10.5M $TAO tokens.

On Monday, Thinking Machines Lab announced a $2 billion seed round. Valuation? $12 BILLION.
Welcome to the gold rush - where VCs are throwing cash at anything that even rhymes with AI:
• Scale AI - Raised $1.6B, valued at $13.8B
• Runway - Raised $545M, valued at $3B
• Skild AI - Raised $300M, valued at $1.5B
• Mercor - Raised $135M, valued at $2B
• Mistral AI - Raised $1.2B, valued at $6.2B
The Economist called it “vibe valuing” last month.
Founders chasing usage.
Investors chasing takeovers.
Everyone chasing the vibe.
Now look at Bittensor subnet valuations:
• Score - $25M
• Synth - $7.5M
• Metanova - $19M
These aren’t pitch decks, they are live and competing. Earning emissions. Shipping real product.
Some are already generating fiat revenue:
• Dippy - $50K/month, $10M market cap
• Targon - $100K/month, $50M m/c
• Chutes - $10k/day*, $135M m/c
Even TAO itself - the monetary layer that coordinates everything - has a market cap of just $4B.
So why are dollars flooding into startups and not subnets?
Because they’re priced in $TAO, not dollars.
And the suits don’t know what to do with that, so they hesitate.
Being crypto-native doesn’t make subnets less valuable, it just makes them harder to price if you’re looking through a TradFi telescope.
VC money WILL come around.
But by then, TAO won’t be $4B.
And you won’t be early.
