@vickyweberbooks It wouldn't be easier to stop. Being a writer is a core part of who I am as a person. Even when it gets frustrating. Any time I have tried taking breaks from writing, I can't stay away. It would take ongoing effort to quit.

@AustinWyckes They're absolutely not an AI detector. AI learned to use them by being trained on human writing. Just because the average writer may not use them regularly doesn't mean the rest of us should be penalized. Use them all you want.

i know the em dash and the semi colon is supposed to be an ai detector but i just stopped caring. like im sorry i dont use ai at all but im not going to stop my em dashes and my semi colons
