I've been with @uptimerobot for years and always recommended them.
But now they are force-upgrading me to a $348/y plan. Super unfriendly towards legacy customers.
Anyone know a bootstrapped-friendly alternative?

Okay and who of you couldn't reply to this? Please please only if you couldn't okay?

WordPress Blueprints are magical ✨
You can spin up a fully configured WordPress setup in minutes… themes, plugins, content, settings, all preloaded.
I've built a free app called pootleplayground.com that lets non-technical folks create their own Blueprints easily.
Perfect for:
• Educators running workshops
• Content creators sharing starter kits
• Plugin & theme creators showcasing setups
• Freelancers onboarding clients
• Devs building repeatable environments
Honestly, once you see it, you start thinking in “Blueprints” for everything.

So cool to see this mobile menu feature go from a proof of concept I made in a week, to a plugin that thousands of people love, and now into WordPress 7.0 where it's available to tens of millions of sites.
Thanks to everyone who made it happen!

For experienced users.
For most users for example some of our customers it's easier to write a email or call our agency then edit themselves.
So they will likely also use an AI.
Just a few minutes ago I had to create an new user because the owner of the homepage isn't willing to do it on their own.
They don't have to think about how to login, how to find the correct page / menu etc.

@TaronKevin @pootlepress @jdevalk I guess that prompting + fine tuning in order to update a paragraph could be longer than just editing that damn paragraph lol
English

Sorry if my explanation isn't totally clear!
Basically, the CMS is like a really nice interface that connects the user with the database. It makes it easy and user-friendly to edit content, etc.
But if the AI (like Claude or something) is the interface, why would we need a CMS?
The user just opens Claude, tells it "We're changing the image on landing page XY," and Claude automatically uploads the picture and updates the HTML. Done!
Or I'm on the wrong track here?

@TaronKevin @jdevalk I don't quite follow?
