Teachers, I’ve sort of stumbled upon a perfect AI detection method in my classroom work. Here it is; it basically consists of three questions: 1. Does the student own, or have access to, a smartphone? 2. Does the student own, or have access to, a computer? 3. Did the work leave the room, or even your general attention, during the process of its production? If the answer to any of these questions is “yes,” there is a strong possibility (75% or more, I’ve found) that AI was used.
