An addendum to this, which I first saw in @NateSilver538's newsletter - it's very interesting that Crockett was not necessarily more progressive than Talarico, but she was absolutely more *partisan*. She was of the 'the entire GOP can burn and go to hell' wing of the Dems, whereas Talarico is much more of a bridge-builder. It's an interesting counterpoint to the idea that Dems want a 'fighter' first and foremost.
