I sit in the garden shed for two hours a day, sometimes longer. The family thinks I am tinkering with mechanisms and they don't disturb me.I just sit in silence and peace away from their problems.

I told my partner I was fluent in French on our first date. Five years later, we're moving to Lyon for his job. I've spent £2,000 on intensive tutoring in the last three weeks. I'm currently at 'The cat is under the table' level. I am terrified.

@fesshole Have you had this conversation with your wife? Also surely when you’re trying to get to know someone (early stages of dating) this would be worse, there’s supposed to be high interest at the beginning.

Wife is completely addicted to her phone can't put the thing down for more than a second. while out at a meal when she went to the loo our waitress commented that my date wasn't going well and I could do better. I just smiled, a bit embarrassed to say she's actually my wife

It's been a while since I've been intimate with anyone and I shamefully let a 73 year old woman seduce me. I'm 43. Immediately after the act, I regretted it and felt awful. She then proceeded to tell me that I came too quick which made me feel worse.

Mrs is a lot more attractive than me. When we go out men stare at her. Doesn't really bother me. What does bother me is the nagging I get every day. Sometimes I wish I was single for the peace but I'm shallow and she is beautiful. And I'd never get someone so pretty ever again.

My partner vlogged the build up to our wedding. They had no idea that I was very close to calling the whole thing off because of it. I'm glad that no one watched it & they stopped.When we did get married, the second DJ didn't show cause that was my first step in cancelling.

@fesshole I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone with so much time in their hands that they can enter itemised shopping items on a spreadsheet. General analysis you can get from your banking app but to that level? Typing every receipt?

My husband keeps a database that tracks what is spent, where, and on what. He asked how I managed to spend so much on eggs in 2025. We each have two eggs for breakfast every day and that's all. But I also buy eggs to give to the foxes and they each have one every day.

I'm married 15 years and there's underwear my wife has that I particularly like seeing her in, so I'll ensure a quicker turnaround time in laundry for them, so she might wear them again sooner. I don't think she's ever noticed

I'm admittedly not great at keeping in contact with people. I found out at Christmas dinner with my family that my brother hasn't been talking to me for 2 years. I had no idea.

@4intheflames @martyrdison Women single into their 30s are A. prioritizing the wrong things B. Incapable of securing commitment. (How did you accomplishing scaring off every man you come into contact with?) Divorced women lack the commitment required to make a home stable.

i am incredibly suspicious of men who are over 40 & never married i trust someone who tried and it didn’t work marriage that ends is still evidence of effort never lived with anyone? red flag never had a long-term relationship past 6 months? red flag there’s usually a reason these men are single, and it’s not because they were “focused on work.” if they didn’t prioritize love then they’re unlikely to start now tell me why i’m wrong

@4intheflames @martyrdison Any man buying into the dribble and victimisation from women needs to see a phone belonging to a woman with all the dating apps and compare it to a man. The fact we even listen to this dribble is ridiculous “oh no I can’t find a stable relationship among literally 1000 suitors”

@martyrdison I think it’s more of a “red flag” that a woman is still single over 30 apart from divorce etc. women literally get 10-15x more opportunities and don’t even have to try

@martyrdison Men can live, be married to or be in a long term relationship with a woman because we are useful to them, and not love them. So it’s not proof either.
