MY PERSONAL MANIFESTO:
Everything has a Price, denominated in a metric called Money, and in today's world it is the closest we've come to measuring real Value.
All universal metrics (like weight, length, distance, etc.) have one thing in common: once established they're left alone, the systems are not altered or manipulated, and become Standard. Currently, Money is the greatest exception.
To stabilize an economy or reduce crime, one must not be incentivized to do the opposite. Therefore, MONEY MUST NOT BE CENTRALLY CONTROLLED OR OWNED BY ANY SINGLE ENTITY, AND ITS SUPPLY MUST NOT BE ALTERED OR MANIPULATED IN ANY WAY. And anyone that says the opposite is either ignorant, confused, or a bad actor.
In the United States for example, ArtI.S8.C5.1 Congress's Coinage Power grants Congress the power to manipulate Money supply (constitution.congress.gov/browse/essay/a…) rendering the USD a useless metric for measuring Value. And get this: the USD is the Global Reserve Currency! - No wonder the World is going to shit, and it's becoming more difficult to differentiate Left from Right, or Right from Wrong - our Value system is misconfigured.
This is why an alternative Money is required. Something that is not centrally controlled. Something whose supply is fixed. Something that meets the needs of today's economy in a digital era.
Bitcoin is superior to Government Money (fiat) in every way, and if you're not actively accumulating and searching for ways to do business with it, you're inactively propping up a system that is doing more harm than good.
