35 years old and still one of the best soundtracks ever! Turn up your speakers for this golden oldie. One of my all-time favourite games from back in the day was Super Cars II (1991), developed by Magnetic Fields and published by Gremlin Graphics. The intro and cutscenes always reminded me a bit of the Cinemaware style - great pixel graphics and an epic soundtrack (perfect for a racing game and masterfully done by the legendary Barry Leitch). Buying upgrades like Nitro, Armor, Rockets and Mines added a strategic element; the later stages with tougher opponents really required those boosts to stand a chance. Great humour too, with the TV crew and the names of other drivers (hello there, Alain Phosphate!) - and last but not least, a superb two-player split-screen mode. The battles with my friends are still stuck in my mind. This always felt like a game perfectly suited for the Amiga.

The Steam Deck is clearly more versatile than I could have ever imagined. I can already simulate, control, visualize and program my robot using it. This legend at the #OHS26 KiCAD workshop proved that you can also design PCBs on it. Crazy.

Printed this set of armor for this STB Rev.C Voodoo2. These Voodoo2 cards are so easily damaged and need very good protection all around👀 Plus it feels really nice to handle with the shell on. You don’t have to worry about where you are grabbing it by anymore😌

A great read!

Massive thanks to our friends at @tomshardware for their fantastic review! "Commodore 64 Ultimate is a love letter to a time when 1MHz and 64KB of RAM were enough to power your world. Those of us who love old computers will lap this up, and rightly so. It is a seriously good system that provides a platform for retro gaming, retro homebrew, and video game preservation." tomshardware.com/video-games/re…

@hackaday The Amiga keyboard and its processing apps lived in the shadow of the Atari ST. I had both and the Atari was my choice for text processing and DTP, with the Amiga there for fun and pixel painting. Both rocked with Audio Sculpture for .MOD music making.

Did anyone touch type or do word processing on the Amiga 500? It didn't exactly have the best key feel...

Aaron presented his journey of building a CPU from scratch. Starting with breadboards all the way to silicon. While learning Verilog in Minecraft. He is hoping that he can still manage to submit his design to the next shuttle of @tinytapeout

Such wonderful memories of the design team, the intense work and the incredible results...industry shaping results. Often, when you are working like crazy, in the middle of a project like this you have no idea of the magnitude of the impact it will have. You know you are part of something special but, wow, this was a life and industry changer for me and the team. What an honor to be part of it! tomshardware.com/tech-industry/…
