College is dead. Non-skilled labor (think basic construction, digging, etc) is starting at $18/hr in my area. If you *show up* for a week it goes to $20. Then $23 after 2 weeks. Then $25 after a month. Can be a foreman within 6 months and earn $10k/month with a truck and phone provided. Never pick up a shovel again. They're hiring like crazy. Can't find any workers.

Remember when $40,000 per year was enough to live on? 🔊 ... 🤨 I keep hearing this over and over again from Gen Z "we did every we were told, we went to college, we got the degree, it's not our fault, the previous generation did this to us ..." What do you think? Is Gen Z innocent and just got a bad deal at the wrong time? or are some of them also responsible for their situation because they made lousy choices on what they studied and they overspent for those degrees?
