IRAN DID NOT SIGN A DEAL WITH THE US AND VICE VERSA. This is just a mutual suspension of hostilities for two weeks for negotiations. Neither got anything they wanted. It is unclear why Iran accepted, but the US wants an exit from the war because it achieved its objectives already which is to promote political change inside iran. Trump has succeeded in regime change clearly and iran is going to lose the war and split just like i originally predicted. Current iran is not fit for purpose. The country needs regime change.

So the bottom line is that the US bombers did leave UK bases last evening fully loaded to strike whatever crazy locations the mad president intended. I don't care that they returned. It's unjustifiable that Starmer allowed them to do it. Starmer must go, and the US bases must go as well.

At the 11th hour the big bully Trump backed down on hís threat to genocide 91.5m people in Iran because (a) the brave Iranian people formed human chains around bridges, power plants (a move that Trump and hís cheerleaders on Fox and GB News most certainly did not like because they knew it would make them look even worse when they started the bombing). (b) Pakistan brokered a late 2-week ceasefire deal. Yes, Pakistan. Not Britain, not the EU, not any western country- they were prepared to sit back and watch Trump commit genocide without even a word of protest or condemnation. We must never forget that.

It was not just Trump who revealed himself yesterday. The total silence from @Keir_Starmer and his apology for a cabinet in the face of Trump's genocidal threat to Iran, even as they took immediate concrete action to ban Kanye West/Ye, reveals deep and profoundly troubling double standards. As we saw repeatedly with Gaza, the mass slaughter of Muslims really doesn't bother to our government; now even the threat of complete civilisational erasure is not worth a passing comment. Starmer just shrugged and let the B-52s take off with all their bombs primed and ready to drop on civilian targets. A total and irredeemable disgrace.

This is just too funny 🤦‍♂️ Trump's justification for extending his deadline by 2 weeks is that Pakistan's Prime Minister "requested" it. But when you look at the edit history of the post in question by Pakistan's PM, where he "requests" the extension, it's painfully obvious it was sent to him by the White House since he first stupidly posted it with the mention "Draft - Pakistan's PM Message on X" 🤣

I am grateful for this cease-fire, however tenuous, because any movement that gives diplomacy get a chance, and provides an opportunity for the killing to stop on all sides, is greatly welcomed. However, we need to be very, sober minded on the mountain that still has to be climbed, by Iran, Israel, and the United States. All three sides have very different visions about what the end states for these negotiations needs to look like, and it’s entirely possible that this two weeks doesn’t even hold, or that at the end of that time the fighting may resume. It’s also important to keep in mind the profound price thats already been paid by the United States for this war we chose: 13 service members dead, nearly 400 wounded, dozens of aircraft destroyed or damaged, billions of dollars worth of radars destroyed, 13 regional bases damaged or destroyed, and our allies throughout the region have suffered egregious damage to their cities and oil, facilities, some of which will take years to recover/repair. Meanwhile, tho Iran has suffered profound damage to its military, and thousands killed and wounded of its people, they have weathered nearly 40 days of a full on American assault, and their regime remains in control in Tehran, their missile capacity remains intact, their drone capacity remains intact, their navy speedboats and submarines remain virtually untouched, and they continue to hold the Strait under their full control. That’s not a good 40 day rollup for the United States, in a war that should never have been started, because we were never threatened, and our security was never at risk. And it is entirely possible that the end state of this entire affair, will see us in a weaker position related to Iran, on the strategic level. More to follow…

Instead of just pouring mockery over the U.S., the kind it fully deserves, I would rather say this: I am glad for the Iranian people and their resilience. Standing firm against an overwhelming force, with a tactically sharp and disciplined leadership that managed to push back both diplomatically and militarily. A moment that cuts through propaganda. Through the lies. I am happy for you. This is historic for Iran. It is not over yet. But the American chessboard looks like it is only a few moves away from checkmate. They wanted war. They wanted destruction. Instead, they got humbled by an opponent they clearly underestimated. Long live Iran.
