Harris would not beat Newsom in a California primary, and I don't need a poll to tell me that. California donors will also give to Newsom before they give to Kamala. She should take that into consideration before deciding to run again.

Two recent polls in California show Kamala Harris running far behind Gavin Newsom if she attempts a presidential comeback. nymag.com/intelligencer/…

Instead of the Democratic Party, Ms. “I wash collard greens in my tub,” and the Black community in general focusing on the real crises in our community, baby mama culture, high abortion rates, declining literacy, and serious economic instability, you get on a platform and choose to fixate on Nicki Minaj. That says everything. And what makes it worse is Kamala, a woman of Caribbean descent, moving in ways that don’t even align with the interests of the very communities she comes from. Then the same party turns around confused about why they lost. You would rather critique entertainers than confront the uncomfortable truth that the communities you claim to advocate for are being failed across the board. Education. Family structure. Economic mobility. All declining. And instead of accountability, it’s deflection. We are at the bottom in too many categories for this level of distraction to even make sense. I am not a Republican, but if this is what leadership and focus look like, then losing is exactly what had to happen and should happen again. I guess Black Women are the back bones of democracy only if you’re a Democrat. Girl bye.

Kamala forgoing a lay-up gov race and condemning CA Dems to this panicky Squid Game, one of the great 2025 stories

@daveweigel It still boggles my mind that Harris looked at a field she would be able to clear by literally doing nothing besides declaring her run for Governor and somehow decided against that in favor of a 2028 nomination she probably won’t win
