With great sadness, we learned that a passionate member of the Predecessor community, Alexandra, unexpectedly passed away last month. Alexandra was more than just an avid fan, she was a cornerstone of the Predecessor Wiki and a dedicated voice within our IT community. Her passion for the game and her willingness to help others leave a lasting legacy that we will miss dearly. To honor her memory and ensure she is always a part of the world she helped build, we are adding a permanent tribute to Alexandra in the final version of the Daybreak map. Her name will be carved into stone, standing as a testament to her impact on this community. For those who wish to support Alexandra’s family during this difficult time, a GoFundMe has been established to assist with funeral costs. @SpookiestMars While yea those are obviously sci-Fi games in video games we don’t usually classify genre with setting/plot/characters/themes and instead mostly classify them by mechanics (ie FPS, Platformer, RPG, Survival game, walking sim, etc)

Mass Effect and Halo are both sci-fi games though? I just fundamentally disagree with the idea that setting/story/plot devices don't define a game, I feel like that detracts so much from the art form and ignores what makes a particular game what it is.
