The Orioles are unveiling their new player development facility at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota, Florida. It was a $23-million project and POBO Mike Elias said this now “may be the best indoor hitting facility in the world.”

Patriots HC Mike Vrabel did his best during Friday’s practice to simulate Sunday’s Super Bowl conditions. One hour into practice, Vrabel sent his team back to the locker room, blared Bad Bunny over the stadium speakers for 14 minutes, and then summoned his team back to the field to finish practice, per pool reporter @bylindsayhjones.

Unusual play here. Sac bunt with runners on 1B & 2B, Catcher throws to 3B for the force but the 3B crashes early. Fortunately the 3B has awareness to throw to 1B for 2-5-3 putout. Ironically the hitter should be out & runners return to 1B & 2B because he bunted the ball with his entire foot outside the batter’s box. For you rules nerds:Can the bunter have his foot touching HP & not be out of the box(On the line is not out of the box) without being called out?

@dekker It’s crazy man. And if it’s not by the time you get home, it’s damn sure the next day. Washing and storing them in mason jars with a folded up paper towel at the bottom has increased longevity for me significantly.
