📺 The BBC cancelled almost all TV and radio interviews on #Iran's internet blackout they'd scheduled or suggested changing topic to other outages. With huge respect to BBC journos, this wastes human rights monitors' time, hasn't happened in past crises, and needs investigation.

🗓️ Exactly one week ago to the hour, #Iran fell into digital darkness as authorities imposed a national internet blackout. Through the following days Iranians continued to protest and demand liberty despite a draconian crackdown. At 168 hours, data show the shutdown is ongoing.

Trump: "It is a good idea for Americans to leave Iran."

#Iran | #Switzerland is following the numerous arrests and deaths in connection with the protests in Iran with great concern. 🇨🇭 calls on the Iranian authorities to end the violence against demonstrators and to guarantee the human rights and fundamental freedoms of all the protesters.

It cannot be business as usual. As the brave people of Iran continue to stand up for their rights and their liberty, today I have taken the decision to ban all diplomatic staff and any other representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran from all European Parliament premises. This House will not aid in legitimising this regime that has sustained itself through torture, repression and murder.
