@skominers @BrianCAlbrecht Envelopment = dominant platform A entering B's market and offering an A+B bundle to challenge dominant platform B. By definition, both A and B are incumbents in their respective core businesses, but A is an entrant in B's market.

Apropos of nothing in particular: A standard lesson in platform economics is that a dominant incumbent might find it highly valuable to show/embed competitors' offerings because that makes the incumbent a "one-stop shop," thus reinforcing its platform dominance.
