A bit late to the game, but I finally got around to playing through all of Elden Ring and beating Malenia.
I'm in the DLC now and getting invaded all the damn time lol
Check out the latest addition to Hungry Froggos!
Sunglasses, a beard, and a stars-and-stripes hat to show your USA pride!
And they're free! Happy 4th of July!

Hungry Froggos 1.5.2 is up!
I fixed the most important bug in the entire game (the eyes look better)
And also fixed a bug with lobbies. You'll no longer join a game if they've already left the lobby scene!

@Terrogaunt hi!! Long time! Found something i never heard before and wanted to share and immediately thought of you. A metal version of a cyberpunk 2077 tune. I swear it’s allmost Mick Gordon esque like if cyberpunk was a doom shooter. youtu.be/e9H-9BbafD4?si…
@PantsPantsless@awintory Yeah, I agree. They really didn't pull their punches with the soundtrack. I learned a lot of rad music from that game!
100 gecs is probably the weirdest lol
@Sosowski@doougle This makes me think of a shared space experience where you have ppl outside the game dropping move controllers like indiana jones traps
@epyoncf@Sosowski@Saulcava1@Nilskiii Oh, absolutely. But I'd say having "something" to compete in 3d seems necessary, given the conversation thus far.
I'm just curious about why the push for a 3d pipeline would be a bad thing. To me, photorealism feels more like it describes the input/output and less the system
@Terrogaunt@Sosowski@Saulcava1@Nilskiii Photorealism are advanced techniques precisely like the ones you mentioned, and take a lot of work and manpower to reach a point where they produce performant and stable results in everyday usage. There's a difference between triangle density and adaptive mechanisms like Nanite.
@epyoncf@Sosowski@Saulcava1@Nilskiii I guess I'm curious as to what all that entails.
In Unreal, there's Nanite now, which is like converting to point cloud data for dynamically scaling.
In Unity, you've got URP and HDRP.
But "photorealism" just implies lighting, texture quality, and triangle density, right?
@ajgenerated Social media and rage bait seem more responsible here
Given how no one cares what he's doing, seems like performative art, which makes this intentional rage bait for attention, right?
