This mom’s daughter was genuinely disturbed by a song from 1978… She pulled up a music video of “Hot Child in the City” from 1978 and her daughter was immediately horrified. The poor girl sat there in disbelief while her mom laughed the entire time. Between the lyrics and the overall vibe, she was genuinely creeped out and ready to shut it off. It’s crazy how songs people used to just sing along to back in the day sounds so off now. We really weren’t paying attention to half the stuff we were listening to. Have you ever shown your kids an old song and watched them have a full meltdown over the lyrics?

If you buy anything after 2016-2018, you understand you are getting a lot less for a lot more. The newer Durangos are fairly comfortable, the V6 models have decent mpg for a 3 row, they look great. @EmbracingTara Kinda interesting. Friend owns a used car lot, said anyone that comes in has already checked prices all over and likes his price or they wouldn't come in. Very little haggling now, but if he likes you he'll take some off.

I went to purchase a car yesterday, and they were so condescending and lied to me at least four times about both the car and the process (of which I was fully researched) that I wasted literally 3 1/2 hours of their time beating them down on the price and then I walked away anyway. They chased me to my car twice. Totally worth it. The lesson is, don't condescend to or lie to women (or anyone) to try to get a sale. I was fully prepared to purchase prior to that.

@crazyclips_ People take the chunks of asphalt or concrete to use for their own homes — flooring, courtyards, paths, or repairs. Asphalt/concrete is seen as valuable free material for construction in poor areas.

My dryer broke, instead of going out and buying a new one, I bought a 16$ replacement part and fixed it myself. How many people out here today can say honestly they are fixing there things instead of tossing them and buy a new one.
