Some personal news! Beyond excited to announce I will be joining the @OttawaCitizen & @OttawaSunCom next week to cover the Senators full-time. I won’t downplay what this means to me: It is my dream job. 14 years ago, I wrote my first hockey column for my high school newspaper.

This so sad to hear. I grew up watching Michael religiously on TSN in the 1990s. Then when I broke into the industry, he was the kindest, funniest and sweetest man — always willing to help a younger reporter. Sending all the love and condolences to his family & friends.

Good for @OttBlackJacks for their plans to honour @OttawaSportHoF inductee Pat Stoqua. Pat is one of the best all round athletes I’ve ever met. Played in the CFL. Starred in university basketball. Sunday 2pm at their home game at TD place. The games are good. Pat is a legend

I love to walk so took a good one yesterday to challenge myself. 112,000 steps, 85 kilometres. That is two full marathons in one day. I know. Crazy. But at age 66 I agree with Clint Eastwood - "Don't let the old man in." Motion is lotion.
