@ValueAnalyst1 Simple question. What’s an acceptable level of accidents for $TSLA FSD? Is it 0%? Is it half of what’s today for manual driving? Sounds like the expectation is FSD can never have an error or accident. That’s never going to be the case.

$TSLA I’m 99% certain that this accident indeed happened while on FSD because I’ve personally witnessed, numerous times, how FSD can get confused driving through multi-level highways in Texas, thinking that it’s at a different level and driving at the wrong speed limit/direction.

People say FSD is AI but explain if that’s true. I imagine it’s using AI to be trained but I don’t believe once the software is downloaded to the car it’s AI. It’s a predetermined set of rules making decisions. If it was really AI why would my FSD sometimes stop at a corner with no stop sign and other times not stop? If it was truly AI it would quickly learn there is no stop sign there and correct itself.

I know this makes me a Luddite in the @tesla community but I think it’s crazy an AI is 59% of my driving. Literally living in the future ⚡️

@uncreativetom You would have to ban all cruise control options on every car. Why can I set cruise control to speed on the road and break the law? $TSLA

Anyone who tells you what’s next in the Mideast is bullshitting. No one can control the outcome, no matter how many bombs we drop. Maybe history will say President Trump was reasonable and prudent. Possible, but unlikely. The longer this drags on unresolved the better the chance the wheels fall off.

@wholemars @Mike_the_Elder @Tesla In fairness I remember Tesla saying they took away speed control offset and adjusting speed using the scroll on the wheel because you shouldn’t have to interact with the car. But now we say change the speed profile when the car is not going as fast or slow as we want.

I love how well my @tesla Model Y drives using FSD, such a pity that its speed limit detection outside the city is mindnumbingly bad. For faster speeds it is less than 50% accurate. Robotaxi this definitely isn’t, 100% needs supervision.

The most important safety feature in FSD 14 is Mad Max mode. How could the most aggressive driving mode be a safety feature? Because it convinced people who used to disengage FSD for being too slow to keep in on. That’s a huge jump in safety from reckless driving.

I want autonomous vehicles to drive within the law and what’s acceptable. You’re talk about running stop signs and red lights. That’s not within the law. Ask any cop if they will write you a ticket for being at 2mph at a stop sign and they will all tell you that they wouldn’t pull you over for that. It’s the same as doing 75 in a 70. Technically that’s speeding but no cop will pull you over.

It’s not, and it should not be allowed. But that does not justify compounding the problem by running stop signs. Maybe you think need lights are optional, too? Do you want people to support autonomous driving for the safety benefits it brings or to turn against it because the car runs stops signs and red lights?

@TeslaATL @wholemars Because the entire reason why autonomous vehicles are so safe is that they obey the traffic laws, even ones that human drivers think don't apply to them.

@TeslaATL @wholemars stop signs start to bother you a whole lot less when you aren't the one actually stopping and starting the car also if you are in a hurry you can gently press the accelerator

Safe to say navigation has not been improved 😂😂 just took me on this gigantic highway detour when I was just trying to go to a different spot in the parking lot

@coinbureau Don’t love timelines with out any specific reason as to why. Before it was $ETH to $7000 by end of 2025 with no reason why. Now we’re calling a bottom of around $1900 by April and again with no specific reason.
