Went on a short drive to pick up dinner and looking for deer…no deer today but will setup proper equipment for future “deer hunting” drives. Thermal camera is great but FSD V14 makes it obsolete.

@ElectrekCo @FredLambert What they will find is that FSD is much more effective than human under poor visibility conditions…poor visibility is by human standards. FSD vision is much more advanced than ours.

@tesla_archive It makes some much sense while on FSD why Tesla removed all the clutter that you see in the other car…you really don’t need to bother with all those stressful details. Just sit back and enjoy the scenery!

NEWS: US House transport committee head wants to collect EV fees for highway repairs. Representative Sam Graves, said he plans to take up a multi-year bill in early April. Last year, House Republicans ​proposed a new $250 annual fee on EVs and $100 for hybrid EVs ​but it was not included in a massive tax and ⁠spending bill. The current five-year surface transportation law expires on September ​30. @TeslaAaronL Handles fine, it gave space for the biker on the right lane or it would have changed lane earlier.

FSD (v13.2.9) almost had a close call. It changed lanes a bit too late and nearly caused an accident. Needs improvement here.

@scotsrule08 @Tesla_AI I have encountered similar case and it’s the positioning/ angle of the opposing traffic lights…back in v13 but not yet in V14.

FSD 14.2.2.5. Green light. Car inches forward then just… stops. Nobody there. No cars. No pedestrians. No objects. Nothing. Waited five seconds. Nothing. Had to hold the accelerator down to get it moving. I've seen others reporting this same behavior at intersections. Something is off or changed in this build. The car is seeing something that isn't there or it's hesitating on a decision that should be automatic. Green means go. 🚥

@CyberMikeOG It remains to be seen how many of these partnerships will succeed in implementing a scalable autonomy. Dabbling with a few cars will result in something like FSD? The only short term winner here here is NVidia…but hopefully some will deliver L2/3 to their customers.

Tesla has a superior Autonomous driving system with zero partnerships. Nvidia launches this new system and has many partnerships over night. I think Tesla might need to work on its marketing team to partner and ship out FSD to a broader audience.

@mmomboisse It’s idiotic you guys harp onto this as a design flaw…if you rush to enter any entrance when an automated door is being opened, that’s the outcome. May stick your face there as the car just arrive…you’ll get a good slap.
