Drivers hate Teslas at night. Why? Because the cars are in full war mode. Adaptive high beams are a great feature at close range. But at longer distances, they are unfortunately a disaster. The system dims far too late. In this video, I get flashed 4(!) times by the same driver because my car is blinding him. The adaptive high beams even switch off briefly, only to turn back on again shortly after. A human driver would have dimmed the lights from the very beginning. I experience situations like this on almost every drive at night. Please, @Tesla @teslaeurope @Tesla_AI @aelluswamy @larsmoravy @elonmusk @DirtyTesLa @AIDRIVR @SawyerMerritt Are there any plans or possibilities to fix this? And one more thing: Here in Germany, it is unusual and somewhat questionable to use high beams within towns and cities. For drivers, the dimming works reasonably well, but pedestrians and cyclists are blinded far too often. It would be helpful to have an option that only enables high beams above a certain speed. As much as I like adaptive high beams, I also just want to turn them off completely so I can drive in peace without constantly bothering other drivers.

@teslawelt Interessant ist ja auch, dass die Änderung mit dem Datum genau einen Tag nach dem Meeting gemacht wurde. Wenn es da mal keinen Zusammenhang gibt, wäre schon ein seltsamer Zufall

ASS in Europe is defined by forcing the driver to stay within a radius of 6 meters, only to then abort the function in protest because a pedestrian is in the way. Even if the permitted tolerance distance, which is a maximum of 10 cm, is actually achieved, the process is completely aborted because ASS is not allowed to be used on public roads. Even if the car is technically on private property.

The only exception is vehicles with Intel chips, right? The only software updates these vehicles receive are renaming menu items. It is still a shame that a company with such a strong focus on software does not offer any upgrade option for vehicles with Intel, of course for a fee. The magic that Tesla can deliver through its software unfortunately remains out of reach for those owners.

I very much hope for a near term rollout of FSD in most European countries. Many people are not aware of what is coming their way. It will be an absolute game changer. I also hope you do not leave HW3 drivers behind and provide a satisfying solution for them as well. Many customers with HW3 invested a lot of money in the FSD package years ago and have received nothing to this day not even any information about what the future looks like.

We – design the chips & hardware – make the cars w/ said hardware – collect real-world data at scale – train the real-world AI model – built (& continue to expand) the massive supercomputer cluster that trains it – deploy AI directly to millions of robots on wheels All that is shared with @Tesla_Optimus for broader applications in both the physical & digital world

I think Tesla has always been somewhat imprecise in their statements 🤪 Maybe for Tesla HW3 is considered the “latest hardware version” for that specific vehicle platform but only within that context. Upgrading those cars to HW4 would be significantly more complex. Also they are currently still upgrading some Model S vehicles to HW3 at least here in Germany. That would be more or less unnecessary if those cars were intended to receive HW4 in the long run.

🚨 Quick note for NL/EU Tesla owners 🇳🇱🇪🇺 Tesla’s AI Computer page (tesla.com/nl_nl/support/…) confirms; If you bought FSD outright and have AI Computer 2.0/2.5, you’re eligible for a free upgrade to the latest hardware AI4 when FSD rolls out. Not for FSD subscribers (yet). Some early cars may also get free camera swaps. With FSD Supervised potentially coming soon to NL, check your car’s hardware in the app. It could matter fast. 🤞 #Tesla #FSD #TeslaEurope #AIComputer

@Tesla When it comes to the upgrade capability from, for example Intel to Ryzen, something must have gone seriously wrong somewhere in your design process.

Of course the demand for two seaters is currently low. In the market there is practically no vehicle that is cool and affordable. Most two seaters are overpriced sports cars with no space. The fact is many people drive alone. The market exists, only the right vehicle for it is missing.

What was the market for big touchscreen phones vs ones with keyboards when the iPhone launched?
Gary Black@garyblack00

@teslaownersSV You’re forgetting the Cybercab will have just two seats - a market that makes up less than 1% of the market. So demand will be limited.

@teslaeurope @grok When do you actually plan to offer paid hardware upgrades from Intel to AMD? Don’t you think something like that would significantly improve the satisfaction of long term customers?

My UNECE Calendar 2026/27 This is what I'm watching out for at the UNECE for the next 12 months. I'll post updates to this and extend it further in to 2027 as we go through the year. The 3 main items I am following are the ADS GTR / ADS UNR and the DCAS UNR update (the 02 series amendments, which drops the "SIM on highways only" restriction). The GTR should be available for use from July while the two UNRs will be in force from January 2027. The ADAS task force has not made public any scheduled meetings this year. The ADS task force has published the "in person" meetings, but not any online ones. The regular September GRVA has moved to October this year. January 1. Regular GRVA meeting - Approval of the ADS GTR and UNR - Approval of the DCAS 02 series of amendments February 1. GRVA Workshop on ADS meeting in Shanghai 2. @wholemars You sure about that? Interior camera that also sees the steering wheel plus infrared? AMD processors for vehicles instead of Intel? Bumper camera? UWB support? FSD computer upgraded from HW3 to for example HW4? In general the cameras from HW3? Wash systems for all cameras?

Every modern Tesla was designed to be upgradable to full autonomy That of course means software updates, but the hardware is designed to be upgradable too The computer is easy to replace with newer version And all the cameras snap on / off like legos

Dear Tesla team, Watching the progress is truly amazing. Perhaps when the time is right you could share some information about the current status of FSD approval in Europe. Is February 2026 still the target date? And if approval is granted are there already timelines for approval in additional countries? There are also important questions right now about how vehicles with HW3 and the sale of FSD will be handled. Could you share some information on the current status of HW3? What are the current plans? Are hardware upgrades planned or will the hardware be able to run FSD14 thanks to the new patents? Even if the camera hardware is less capable? Will the rollout for HW3 happen later than for HW4? Will the sale of FSD in Europe also be stopped from 14.2? Will transfers still be possible after 31.03.2026? Many owners are currently very uncertain about whether they should still buy FSD. About how transfers will work in the future. And whether it is worth owning FSD on a vehicle with HW3. As mentioned your progress is impressive and we all thank you for your commitment. However a bit more transparency on the topics above would be highly appreciated. It would give every owner and buyer more confidence and better options for future planning.
