Horrible first impression v14.3.5 on my 2025 Tesla Model 3 LR RWD Premium 😭 3 terrible parking jobs in 23 min including parking on a ramp in a business park & parking perpendicular out in the road on street only parking situation. Wish I had a better drive but I still believe in the future!

Last night I had to rush my 3.5-year-old son to the hospital… It was very late, I was exhausted, and I desperately wished I had FSD available. Moments like that remind me how completely unacceptable it is that Tesla is still keeping me (and so many others) locked in this ridiculous “jail”/ban. I don’t see any real justification for it beyond frustrating owners. Even worse, it puts us at real risk. FSD is an important extra layer of safety for my family and me especially when I’m tired and driving in the middle of the night. I truly hope the new update finally unlocks the restricted cars. At this point, Tesla risks losing loyal customers over something that should have been fixed long ago….

🚨 Just received the 2026.21.100 update with FSD (Supervised)! 🚀 Biggest highlights: • ~20% faster reaction time thanks to a full AI compiler/runtime rewrite. • Upgraded Reinforcement Learning → smoother driving in more scenarios. • Improved vision encoder for better low-visibility, 3D understanding & traffic signs. • Reduced unnecessary lane bias & tailgating. • Sharper parking decisions + better map pin. • Enhanced responses to emergency vehicles, school buses, small animals & rare situations. Still fully supervised, eyes on the road always. #Tesla #FSD #FullSelfDriving

@B_doong2daddy I put in a cheap window AC from walmart running in economy mode at 80 degrees. Keeps the Tesla from having to run cabin over heat protection (which would just heat the garage even more) without using all that much electricity.

@dmakogon @TalosDreams I don't see how this is gatekeeping. I like the visual design of what we can see. I just think the pretend 'gas engine' noises are beyond ridiculous in an electric vehicle. You might as well be sitting in it going 'VROOM VROOM!'

@TalosDreams Not the same. But I just don’t get the gatekeeping. Don’t you *want* people transitioning to EVs?

Lexus says its upcoming all-electric LFA supercar will use vibrations and other sensory feedback to mimic the feel of a combustion engine. "We’re not just wanting to replicate the sound of the engine: we want to redesign the sound itself so the car feels more alive and authentically connected." The production version of the car is expected to be unveiled at the end of this year/early next year. Concept unveiled in Dec 2025:

@JSX423 Why are you tagging tessla_ai instead of @NHTSAgov ? It's not Tesla's fault, it's a government regulation.

At the point I don't even care anymore. FSD is too safe to not allow the user to allow 1 mph rolling stops. I obviously know the law - but the user/supervisor/person responsible for vehicle should be able to allow via an toggle-able OPTION. We can select Mad Max and go 85 in a 55 but cannot select rolling stops to blend in - which saves almost 3 seconds to go from 10mph to "stop" to 10mph??? This is actually probably a piece of increasing take rate. It's too brutal right now to use FSD around others daily. 99.5% of drivers roll stop signs per Tesla. (Not: I accelerated manually in top video in FSD when I "felt" I was not moving) @Tesla_AI

@JamesMcPherson @mikepat711 That over optimism and relentless determination is exactly why he succeeds where others fail. If you believe you'll fail, you almost certainly end up ensuring that outcome.

@mikepat711 He would miss if he actually knew how hard all his projects would be. Can't have it both ways: Insanely optimistic (naive on actual difficulty) Accurate assessment of problem (never start in the first place)
