The biggest cloud hanging over Texas politics is that there is an inexplicable number of people who call themselves conservative republicans and keep voting for republicans even though actual republicans in power have never ONCE enacted policies that match what these individuals believe they are voting for.
They’ve now taken to calling almost every republican in office either a RINO or a Democrat and I just can’t seem to get through to them that what they call RINOs ARE the Republican Party. Their version of some mythical small government low tax Republican has simply NEVER actually existed in practice.
EVER.
And I swear on politics that if given a blind test of actual enacted policies side by side, that the majority of these individuals would choose the Democratic platform.
But they won’t even *try*
It’s like they’ve been programmed from birth and they think that Democrats are the devil as strongly as they believe water is wet.

Of course I have no money. I’m a nobody. Yesterday, I had the not so fun experience of being highlighted on the @libsoftiktok page. As usual, screenshots were shared that were deceptively edited. I made a comment about fighting Nazis. The post I shared and commented on made it CLEAR that I was referring to fighting Nazis. If you do not personally identify as a Nazi, then my post was not directed at you. I have been mercilessly attacked across ALL of my social media platforms for the last 36 hours because I took a stand against … *checks notes* … Nazis. In the year 2025. Wild times indeed. So if you saw that post and feel as if I was addressing you, personally, then look in the mirror and ask yourself if you are a Nazi. If you aren’t, you’ll find zero beef here. Also, I happen to like my nose, so cope I guess? Thanks to the real ones who were in the trenches with me while I was having security measures put in place.
