Finally got around to completing all Rogue Run challenges and it is easily my favorite new mode of the modern era. I love how every run is truly unique and you feel your power growth with each milestone completed. Enjoyed all of the three launch bosses, but the 'gun roulette' strategy for Mo made him my favorite. Absolutely love the implementation of Chompy, as it gives Essence a purpose, and his rewards often feel tailored to what you need. Let's do a feedback post like I made for Black Ops Classic! Think about realistic tweaks or additions that could further elevate this mode in the final seasons - what would you do if you have full creative control over Rogue Run? Here are my quick feedback notes before compiling the full post: -Consider randomizing the map each run; dropping players into locked off POIs on new areas including Astra, Paradox, Totenreich, and Kowakujo -Adding more bosses (with unique combat gimmicks) with each Reloaded/Season update is the simplest way to introduce more depth and rewards. -Ultra Gum rewards could be added as high round Endurance incentives (e.g. rounds 50, 75, 100+) -Speaking of Endurance - reaching a specific high round milestone (maybe 75 or 100) could be an easy Dark Ops add for Reloaded; consider naming the Calling Card "Going Rogue" 😎 I also spent time concepting new/remixed versions of the mode to offer unique ways of playing and earning rewards: -Concept: Boss Battles - After 19 setup rounds, players are loaded into a random boss arena and fight from Round Based maps. Defeating them unlocks endgame rewards including universal camos, blueprints, and operator skins. -Concept: Rogue Rush - Inspired by the speedrun community. Race the clock to complete 19 normal rounds and defeat a randomly selected Rogue boss (Luci, Mal, Mo). Final times sorted on leaderboards separated by boss type. Nuke drops disabled for consistency, performance is dependent on hasty reward choices and efficient slaying. -Concept: Rogue Roulette - Embrace randomness in this mode where overlord Chompy auto-selects your reward at the end of each round. Complete 19 normal rounds and defeat a randomly selected Rogue boss to earn your place on the throne of uncertainty! Let your feedback and imagination loose in replies below!
