I staunchly oppose everyone who does not want what's best for Iran and its people wether that be the regime, western imperialist powers who put them there in the first place, the terrorist groups they create and arm like ISIS to then sick on Iran and other regional forces who bring instability to the region like Israel. My values do not contradict, you have to pretend I believe in things I do not believe in so you can morally defend your position.

Pahlvai spent decades pretending he was against this war while advocating for it cause he knew it would be a tradegy to the country but give him an in. Now they isolate themselves and build echo chambers so they don't have to deal with the consequences of their actions.
