At least some of Trump's most fervent supporters are turning on him. As such, there's no reason for the conservative influencer sphere to back him anymore. They can toss him overboard as a traitor to his own movement, and cast themselves as his successor.

The problem with claiming to Speak for God (sometimes) or be Direct Literal Heirs to the Apostles or the One True Church is that you are not ever allowed to be run by obvious doofuses or hacks, or your credibility is shot. One advantage of Protestantism is that when the leaders are obviously wrong or just bloviating about something (sadly common, since they are humans) you can say “well that guy’s an idiot” with a clear conscience.

@jeremy_gans No, NSW warrant being executed in Qld. Which I thought would be more commom/streamlined then a federal interstate transfer. For federal transfers, you might also face judge-shopping allegations from a prickly bench if you say you want to move it interstate without good reason

@jeremy_gans A couple months ago, was told by consent was a 2wk process involving Commissioner-level approvals in both States. Not including staffing and travel bookings which are adhoc tasks that admin struggle with without prescribed tasking guides
