@lpoolcouncil any chance as part of the Muirhead Avenue East roadworks we could get a few more bollards near the Marldon Rd junction to prevent pavement parking?

@ThatsAdamPrice @felectricity1 Hello. Given the delay to the 1512 departure, that'll be fine. If you have any issues when your ticket is checked, feel free to show this conversation. Apologies for the delay. ^LA

@CrossCountryUK @felectricity1 I'm booked on an advance single from Liverpool to Bath, catching the 15:12 Birmingham to Bristol XC. It's showing as delayed with no ETA, when I get to Birmingham can I board an alternative XC service to Bristol at 14:42?

@Craigeth1 But we shouldn't be conceding a goal from a bad pass in their area. I hope it's just them getting carried away with the emotion of the occasion, and Gravenberch will make a massive difference

@ThatsAdamPrice He goes too far though he might not be wrong in some aspects but it’s massively overblown, their goals don’t happen if Szob doesn’t do a stupid flick or Salah a poor pass

@jonawils Why do you think teams haven't mirrored the inverted wingers by playing right footers at left back and vice versa?

@jonburkeUK This has been a labour of love. Thought it would be easy to remove the astro turf we inherited but there was 2 inches of concrete below it. Starting to take shape now

This road is 4 lanes wide, and yet there's no space. Each CM wider that cars get is multiplied by 4 here. So when the white Range Rover meets another giant SUV coming the other way it all grinds to a halt. Even 10 years ago it wasn't like this. They must LOVE driving at 6mph.

"More than 1m cars sold in UK each year too big to fit typical parking space" Very interesting analysis from @0jhl at Clean Cities theguardian.com/environment/20…

@davelostdave @rail_guns Wouldn't democracy in action be the members of the planning committee losing their seats at next election if the electorate see fit? I'd rather see these issues decided in the polling booth rather than the courts

@rail_guns I think this is democracy in action. It’s important to never be Robert Moses, even when doing projects that Jane Jacob’s would approve of.

50% of large infrastructure projects in the UK ends up in court, adding around 18 months & costing the taxpayer millions This walking & cycling bridge in Oxford is one of these projects. The judicial review just found in favour of the bridge so let me walk you through it 🧵

@rosemeyer1939 Legislation hasn't been passed that allows for permanent schemes, trials are the only way to operate them until the government decides.whether to make them a permanent part of the transport network

"Shit, or get off the pot" This never ending trial needs to conclude. Either it's a successful scheme and should be permanent, or the trial should end.

@nationaltrust hi. We have family membership, and my parents have senior membership. If my parents want to take our children to a property without us can they bring our family membership cards with them to enable the children to get in for free?
