SEQUENCE in detail (RIS vs UST in #CD) Summary: RIS non inferior to UST in clinical rem w24 & RIS superior UST in endoscopic rem w48 Some relevant details for me: 1⃣Open label- patients & clinicians knew drug assignment (central reader blinded) this differs from VIVID (MIRI vs UST double-blind). This means more interaction with health care system f2f on RIS as (0,4,8 w induction) vs UST (0 w and q8w) 2⃣ All patients had inadequate response OR unacceptable side effects to antiTNF (I would like to know the rates of each within each group, not the same in terms of next's drug response) 3⃣ Clinical remission analyzed for the non inferiority of RIS to UST among the first 50% of patients at w24 whereas endoscopic remission counted 100% patients w48 (this was due to RIS not being approved by that time) 4⃣ Early mandatory glucocorticoid taper Overall RIS > UST. Intriguing the very low endoscopy remission on UST as compared w other trials I congratulate the authors for the commitment to design trials that avoid the use of placebo Any other details you would add?
